The WBBSE was established in 1951 under an Act of the State Legislature termed as the West Bengal Secondary Education Act of 1950. The WBBSE was inaugurated by the Dr. K.N.Katju, the Governer of West Bengal on 3rd May 195. The WBBSE started running successfully under the Chairmanship of Shri Apurba Kumar Chanda. The headquarter of WBBSE is at Nivedita Bhaban, in Bidhannagar, a suburb of Kolkata.
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is an autonomous examining authority for 10th standard which is governed by West Bengal state government. 10th standard examination is known as Madhyamik Pariksha or Secondary examination. WBBSE conduct secondary examination every year and many students take up these examination.

It is requested to re-schedule the date of Mathematics examination-2017 after end of Life Science examination(Mathematics is different subject other then six subject).
Suggestion
There should be an optional subject in each class which may be the special for higher studies for students in future.
