West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) will release the West Bengal TET 2024 on the official website and will conduct the exam soon. The WB TET (Primary) will be held as per the guidelines that have been mentioned by the Department of School Education, Government of West Bengal authorities. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for the position. The candidates applying can either apply for the primary section or can opt for the Secondary section depending on their preferences.

To complete the application process successfully, candidates must follow the below-mentioned instructions and steps. The candidates will have to visit the official website at www.wbbpe.org or wbsed.gov.in. The candidates will have to acquire the application form upon the payment of the application fee from the notified centers. Fill up the application form with the correct details. Verify the details after filling and upload the documents required and then submit the application form with relevant documents to the same bank or in the distribution centers.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must clear the Higher Secondary Exam/Senior Secondary Exam (or it’s equivalent 10+2) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for Reserved Category Candidates) and 2yr Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) passed from an institution recognized by the NCTE and affiliated to the examination body notified by the NCTE.   or
• The candidates must clear the Higher Secondary Exam/Senior Secondary Exam (or it’s equivalent 10+2) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for Reserved Category Candidates) and 4yr Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).  or
• The candidates must clear the Higher Secondary Exam/Senior Secondary Exam (or its equivalent 10+2) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for Reserved Category Candidates) and a Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).  or
• Graduation and 2yr Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) passed from an institution recognized by the NCTE and affiliated to the examination body notified by the NCTE.
• There is a relaxation of 45% marks if the candidates belong to the reserved category, so in order to meet the eligibility criteria, they need to attain 45% marks only.

Application Fee

• The application fee can be submitted online.
• The application fee for General Candidates is Rs. 100/-
• The application fee for reserved Category Candidates is Rs. 25/-

WB TET 2024 Admit Card

• From the official website after providing the Exam authority aspirants can check their Admit card.
• By using their registration ID and Date of Birth (DOB), candidates can download their Exam Hall Ticket.
• Candidates only enter the exam hall with their Admit card.
• Download admit card through name, date of birth, or application number.
• Candidates need to check all the instructions on admit card and follow them.
• Electronic Admit card/Hall ticket will be available on the web portal
• E-Admit card carries all details of the West Bengal TET 2024 Examination.

Syllabus

• The applicants who are interested in applying for the West Bengal TET Examination 2024 must know the syllabus of the same.
• For Paper I, the topics like Child Development, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Science will be there.
• For Paper II the topics like Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, etc will be present.
• All the topics must be learned in detail.
