Uttarakhand Polytechnic entrance examination is commonly known as the JEEP (Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic). It is conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee (UBTER) for filling up various Polytechnic seats in Government & Private/Technical Institutes of the State of Uttarakhand. The aspirant can apply for Uttarakhand Polytechnic who are willing to study Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Fashion Designing, Pharmacy, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

P	Diploma in Pharmacy	3 years	10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics.
H	Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology	3 years	10+2/Intermediate or equivalent with English as one of the subject (Obtained at least 35% marks at the qualifying examination)
M	Modern Officer Management and Secretarial Practice	2 years	10+2/Intermediate or its equivalent (In High School and Intermediate, Hindi and English are mandatory subjects)
G	P.G. Diploma in Computer Application	2 years	Graduation degree from any recognized University
T	Textile Design, Garment Technology, Fashion Design	3 years	High School (Obtained at least 35% marks at the qualifying examination.)
A	Entry in 2nd year of Diploma Engineering through lateral entry	2 years	10+2/Intermediate (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) Or 10+2/Intermediate (Business/Technical subject) or Two-year ITI

Uttarakhand Polytechnic Application Form 

Application Fee

• General/OBC candidates: Rs 800/-
• SC/ST Candidates: Rs 500/-
• The application fee can be paid online (net banking/credit card/debit card) mode only.
• The fee is non-refundable.

Exam Pattern

• The questions will be of MCQ type in the examination.
• The exam will be conducted through pen and paper-based mode.
• Candidates have to use a blue or black ballpoint pen to mark their answers.
• The subjects will vary as per the courses opted for by the students.
• The total exam duration will be for three hours.
• Five marks will be provided for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• The questions paper will have questions based on the 10^th & 12^th

Uttarakhand Polytechnic 2024 Admit Card

The eligible candidates can download the admit card from the official website of Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee (UBTER) i.e. http://ubter.in/ in the month of April.

Uttarakhand Polytechnic 2024 Result

The result will be published on its official website http://ubter.in/ in the month of May. Candidates can get the result by entering requisite details such as registration number etc. in the given tab.

JEEP 2024 Counselling

The Uttarakhand Polytechnic Counselling process will begin in the month of July. The date and time for computerized counselling will be published in the newspaper and Board’s website. The allocation of subjects and institutes will be based on counselling on a candidate’s merit in the entrance examination. If two or more persons get the same rank, then merit will be decided through their date of birth. Selected candidates must keep their admit card, and educational certificates/mark sheets with them for the admission process.
