UPSC CISF AC LDCE 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the notification about UPSC CISF AC (EXE)  to fill the vacancies of Assistant Commandants (Executive) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The ‘Limited Departmental Competitive Examination’ (LDCE) is organized by UPSC for the post of Assistant Commandants (executives) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Eligibility Criteria

• The Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Written Exam, Physical & Medical Standard Tests or Personality/Interview Tests
• Candidates should have completed 04 years of regular service in the rank of Sub. Inspector (GD) / Inspector (GD) including the period of basic training and should have a clean record of service until the issue of offer of appointment.
• The Possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate will be a desirable qualification that will be given consideration at the time of the Interview/Personality Test only.
• The age of the candidate should be less than 35 years on the 1st of August 2024.
• The upper age limit shall be relaxable up to a maximum of five years for Schedule Caste or Scheduled Tribe candidates.
• Every candidate can appear for the examination only three attempts at the examination

Application Fee

• The fee structure for male General and OBC candidates is Rs. 100/-.
• SC/ST/PWD/female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
• Candidates can pay online through net banking of SBI branches throughout the country or by visa card/ credit card or debit card.
• Candidates living in remote areas may apply offline through the Common Application form (Form-E) by paying a fee of Rs. 200/- through a single Central Recruitment Fee Stamp.

Paper 1

• The exam duration will be 2 and ½ hours.
• There will be MCQ Type asked in the exam.
• The medium of the exam will be English as well as Hindi
• Total Marks will be 300.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• These Tests are of qualifying nature and therefore will not carry any marks. Failure even in one of these tests will lead to disqualification.

Personal Interview

• It is to test the applicant’s awareness and understanding.
• The qualified candidates of Medical Standards Tests will be called for the Interview/Personality Test.
• The above-said test will be conducted by the UPSC.
• The candidate will be asked questions from both in his/her own field and from the candidate’s general interest.
• The Interview/Personality Test will carry a weight of 200 marks.
