University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) is located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand offers B.Tech, B.Des and B.Plan programs in numerous disciplines for the 2022 session. The admission is based on the national level CBT entrance examination by UPES. The application form for all courses will be available on upes.ac.in. UPES Dehradun conducts UPESEAT (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test)’ in the month of May. It is a University level entrance examination. Application form and Fee
Interested applicants need to apply online. Applicants can get UPES prospectus along with application form by submitting a Demand Draft in favor of “UPES Fee Account” payable at New Delhi/Dehradun and a request letter. Candidates can also collect their form by cash payment from admission counters at Ahmedabad/Chandigarh/Delhi/ Cochin/ Hyderabad/ Mumbai/ Dehradun/ Kolkata. Candidates have to pay Rs. 1850 if they are collecting the application form through demand draft/online and they have to pay Rs. 1750 if collecting through cash payment.
Exam Pattern
- The exam duration will be for three hours (3 hours).
- A total of 200 questions will be asked in the entrance exam.
- The question paper will be Objective Type Question.
- The question paper will come from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language Comprehension & Current Affairs Awareness.
- 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and there is no provision of negative marking.

UPES Admission 2022 Important Points
- You will get the application form through online or offline mode.
- The last date to fill the application form is 1st week of May 2022.
- You can make payment through debit card/credit card/net banking/cash/Demand Draft.
- The application fee is not refundable,
- The application fee is the same for all candidates.
- Candidates have to qualify their 10th and 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
- 50 questions will be asked each from PCM, 30 questions from English comprehension and 20 questions from general awareness.
- The UPESEAT Exam will be conducted in the 2nd week of May 2022.
- The syllabus will be the same as JEE Main.
