UPCET 2024: UPSEE which stands for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh. NTA was renamed as UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test). UPSEE is intended to provide admissions into Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Design, Management, Computer Applications, etc. Also, the students applying for B.Tech, B.Pharma & MCA get admission through lateral entry. Holding the authority AKTU has scrapped the UPSEE exam for B.Tech Admission from 2024. JEE’s main scores will serve as the basis for B.Tech admissions. The UPCET score is evaluated for students’ admission into various private /government & other affiliated institutions of UP.

UPSEE 2024 Application Form
UPSEE Application form for the 2024-23 session will be released soon, and the procedure to apply along with fee details are given below:
- The candidate has to visit the official website at upcet.nta.nic.in to fill in the application form.
- The various steps to apply online for UPSEE 2024 involve Registration, uploading of images, payment of the application fee, and printing of the application.
- Applying candidates have to attach a scanned signature and photograph according to the given format during the application uploading process.
Application Fee
- The application fee has to be paid online via debit card/ credit card/ net banking & e-wallets.
- Male or transgender candidates from the General or OBC category have to pay INR 1300.
- For SC/ST/PwD and females (of all categories) have to pay INR 650.
UPCET 2024 Application Form Correction
UPCET application form correction option will also be given to the candidates in case of any mistake made while filling the form. Check out its procedure below:
- The application form rectification will be available online only.
- Candidates can make corrections in the application form in the 1st week of May.
- Correction facility is applicable in some of the fields only as set by the University.
Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility
- Nationality: Indian candidates are eligible to apply. Besides this, NRI, PIO, Foreign Nationals, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries & Kashmiri Migrants can also apply for UPSEE 2024 examination.
- Age Limit: No certain age limit is set for applying in UPSEE (UPCET) 2024.
- Appearing: Students are appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply for it.
Academic Eligibility
Qualification criteria for different courses under the UPSEE exam are mentioned below:

Exam Pattern
The UPCET 2024 exam pattern and details about it are given below:
- Exam Mode- The entrance exam will be available through online mode.
- Type of questions: All the questions present in UPSEE are Multiple Choice Questions only. However, the drawing test consists of subjective-type questions only.
- Time Duration: The time allotted to complete the paper depends on the selected course, i.e. either for 2 or 3 hours.
- Marking evaluation: Every correct answer will be rewarded with 4 marks.
- Negative Marking: No negative marking is practiced in UPSEE 2024 exam.

UPCET 2024 Syllabus
The UPSEE syllabus depends on whether the candidate is willing to take admission into UG or PG courses.
- For UG courses, the syllabus will consider subjects of the 10+2 level.
- The admission into the PG course, and graduation level topics from respective subjects are asked in the entrance test.
- For B. Pharma, the entrance test will be prepared to cover topics from Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
UPCET 2024 Result
NTA will announce the result of UPCET 2024 on the official website. It will be available for download by submitting the roll number and date of birth. The scorecard will have details like the course applied for, Merit Rank, total marks scored, and marks obtained in each subject.
A separate merit list will be prepared by the authority to evaluate the candidate’s performance. If more than one candidate is securing the same marks then tie-breaking criteria will be implemented.
Students can also apply for scrutinizing the answer sheets via payment of Rs. 500 per paper within seven days of result declaration.
UPSEE Cut Off 2024
To get admission into any of the offered courses under UPCET, candidates have to secure standard cut-off marks. General category candidates require 25% marks while the SC/ST candidates have to gain 20% for admission.
A merit list will be generated for the students qualifying for the UPSEE cut-off marks. The merit list will serve as the basis for calling the candidates for further admission process.
UPSEE Counseling 2024
The counseling procedure for UPCET 2024 will have various rounds which include registration for the counseling, fee payment, and verification of the documents. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be called for document verification which is followed by the registration and choice locking process. For UPCET counseling 2024, the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam as well as the choices locked by the candidate at the time of the choice locking process would be considered.
