Eligibility Criteria

For UG Courses

  • Passed 2 years PUC science examination which is conducted by Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka. or
  • Passed two years PUC science examination of the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka with Inter-Agriculture as the main subject. or
  • Completed an examination holding equivalent value with the subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and a science subject.

For PG Courses

  • A graduation degree in the respective field want to choose, from a recognized university is required.
  • The above degree must be maintained an overall minimum CGPA / OGPA 2.25/4.00 or 6.00 / 10.00 or an equivalent CGPA / OGPA.
  • Candidates belong to SC/ST/Cat-I category should have completed post graduation and must be the clear pass.

For MBA

  • A graduation degree in the respective field want to choose, from a recognized university is required.
  • The above degree must be maintained an overall minimum CGPA / OGPA 2.25/4.00 or 6.00 / 10.00 or an equivalent CGPA / OGPA.
  • Candidates belong to SC/ST/Cat-I category should have completed post graduation and must be the clear pass.

For Ph.D. Courses

  • A postgraduate degree with a minimum CGPA / OGPA of 2.50/4.00 or 6.50 / 10.00 in the subject of interest that the candidate wishes to pursue research in.
  • Candidates of SC/ST/Cat-I category should have completed post graduation and must be the clear pass.
  • For Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, candidates should hold a post graduation degree in the required subject.

University of Agricultural Sciences Admission 2023: Selection Process

For UG Courses

  • On the basis of academic performance of the candidate in PCB in II year PUC Science examination, the admission will be done.
  • The admission procedure is strictly merit-based subjected to the fulfilment of the above-mentioned guidelines.

For PG Courses

  • Candidates are required to appear for the written examination of total 50 marks in the selected group inclusive of all the listed subjects.

For MBA

  • Candidates are required to appear for the written examination of total 50 marks in the selected group inclusive of all the listed subjects.
