Eligibility Criteria
UG Courses
- B.Tech: Candidates must have passed class 12th examinations with PCM/PCB as main subjects and English as a compulsory language with 50% marks in aggregate
- Integrated (B.Sc-B.Ed): At least 50% marks in 10+2 in Science stream
- Integrated (BA-B.Ed): At least 50% marks in 10+2
- B.Vov: At least 50% marks in 10+2 in Science stream
- B.Ed: Graduation degree from a recognized university
PG Courses
- MBA: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any field with minimum 50% aggregate marks
- M.Tech: B. Tech./ B.E in relevant stream with 50% marks in aggregate
- MCA: Graduation (Major/ Honors) with 50% marks or 55% marks in case of a regular UG degree. Candidates must have studied Mathematics at UG level
- MA (Integrated): 60% marks in 10+2
- M.Com: B.Com or any Bachelor’s degree with commerce as the main subject
- M.Com (Integrated): 60% marks in 10+2
- MTTM: Any Graduation degree from a recognized university
- M.Sc.: B.Sc / Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in the relevant subject.
- M.Sc (Integrated): 60% marks in PCM with required subjects at 10+2 and pass mark in English.
- MA: Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks OR 50% marks in case of regular UG degree
Distance Admission (CODL)
- MA: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- MA/ M.Sc: Graduation with Mathematics as one of the main subjects at UG level
- PG Diploma: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Ph.D.
- M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Sc. Engg. / MS in relevant stream with a required percentage criteria.
Application Fee
- The application fee for UG and PG courses will be INR 1000 (INR 500 for SC/ST/ PWD/ OBC).
- For the MBA program the application fee will be INR 1000 (INR 500 for SC/ST/PWD).
- Payment of INR 700 (INR 350 SC/ST/ OBC/ PWD) will be given as the application fee for Ph.D.
- The application fee can be paid through Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking.

Tezpur University Admission Process
- B.Tech: Score in JEE Main followed by Centralized counseling
- B.Ed / B.Vov /Integrated (B.Sc-B.Ed and BA-B.Ed): Admission is based on an Online Entrance Test conducted by Tezpur University
- MBA: A valid score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ CMAT followed by an interview
- B.Tech: Tezpur University Entrance or a valid score in GATE
- MCA/ M. Sc./ M.Sc (Integrated)/ MA/ MA (Integrated)/ M.Com/ M.Com (Integrated)/ MTTM: On the basis of score in Tezpur University Online Entrance Test
