Sainik School Satara Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to take admission in classes VI and IX as given below:
Class VI
- Admission to Sainik School Satara is open to boys only.
- Further, the age of the boys must be between 10 to 12 years as of 31st March of the year of admission.
- The applicant must be either studying or have cleared Class V.
Class IX
- Similarly, only boys are eligible to take admission in class IX in Sainik School, Satara.
- The age limit to get admission in class IX is kept between 13-15 years as of 31st March of the year of admission.
- Besides this, the applicants must be studying in class VIII is kept as a minimum qualification for Class IX admission.
Sainik School Satara Admission Process in 2024-24
- To get admission to Sainik School, Satara, students have to appear for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE).
- Therefore, applicants are required to apply online for the examination from the official website, www.sainikschooladmission.in.

Sainik School Satara Scholarship
Scholarship programs are also offered to the eligible students of Sainik School from the respective states. However, there is a condition that the guardian/ parent of the student has to execute a bond. It should be declaring that they will return the scholarship amount if their ward doesn’t appear in the UPSC exam for admission to the National Defence Academy. Similarly, if the candidate appeared for the exam but didn’t join the academy later, then also the scholarship amount needs to be returned to the Government.
