Sainik School Admission 2022: Sainik School Society runs Sainik Schools under the authority of the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. Sainik Schools were conceived in the year 1961 are one of the renowned public residential schools in India. Only boys are eligible for admissions to these schools. Sainik School Society conducts an entrance test called AISSEE (All India Sainik School Entrance Exam) to provide admission in class VI and class IX. AISSEE Notification has been released. 5th October 2021: The last date to submit AISSEE 2022 Application Form for Class VI and Class IX is 26th October 2021.

28th September 2021: AISSEE Application Form 2022 for Class VI and Class IX has been released on 27th September 2021.

Eligibility Criteria

Students willing to take admission either in Class VI or IX must meet the following eligibility criteria. Check the following section carefully before filling the Sainik School application form 2022 to avoid any inconvenience.

For Class VI Eligibility

• Class VI admission 2022 will be open for both the girls and boys.
• However, the no. of seats available for boys are more than that for the girls.
• Lastly, for admission in Class VI through AISSEE 2022, the students must be between 10-12 years as of March 31, 2022.

For Class IX Eligibility

• Unlike Class VI, Admission in Class IX in Sainik School is open for boys only. Also, the aspiring students must be studying in Class VIII in a recognized school to register for admission to XI Sainik School.
• The age of the aspirant must be between 13-15 years as of March 31, 2022.

Important note: Besides these, one student can apply for Sainik School only once by filling the AISSEE 2022 registration form.

Steps to fill AISSEE Application Form 2022-23

The application form for admission to Sainik School in the 2022-23 session will be released online on the official website of AISSEE. The application form submission procedure is completed in two steps as described below:

Step 1: Online Registration

• Visit the official website of Sainik School and click on the link for the application form.
• It will redirect you to a new page where you have to click on the “New Registration” button.
• Click on the disclaimer box to proceed further.
• Fill in the details as specified in the form and generate a password and choose a security question.
• Finally, enter the security pin/captcha code.
• Click on the ‘submit button and save the Sainik School 2022 admission form.
• Review the form thoroughly and enable the checkboxes for confirmation.
• Lastly, click the ‘Final Submit’ button to submit the Sainik School registration form.

Step 2: Filling the Sainik School Admission Form 2022

• Once the registration is done, enter the personal, educational, and communicational details.
• Also, do the choice filling including four exam centers, medium of appearing in the test.
• Upload the scanned signature and photograph in the prescribed format.
• To complete the admission procedure, pay the fee online via credit card/Debit card/net banking/ Paytm.
• Finally, download the confirmation page of the Sainik School 2022 admission form submission.
• Lastly, note down the application no. and password for future references.

Reservation

• 15% of the total seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes.
• 7 ½% seats for Scheduled Tribes.
• 67% of the seats will be reserved for boys from the State in which the Sainik Schools is located.
• 25% of seats are reserved for children of service personnel including Ex-servicemen.

Application Fee

• The application fee of AISSEE 2022 for the General and Defense Category will be Rs.400/-
• For SC/ST category the application fee will be Rs.250/-
• The Application fee is non-refundable and can be paid through online mode.

Sainik School Admission 2022 Procedure

Admission will be made strictly in order of merit only in classes VI and IX. In case the Entrance Examination cannot be conducted in any State/UT on account of the administrative problem, a separate order will be issued to conduct another Entrance Examination on a date fixed by the Honorary Secretary.

AISEE Sainik School Result 2022 (Class 6 & 9)

Exam Pattern

The entrance exam for admission to Sainik School for the 2022-23 session will be in pen-paper mode. Besides this, the applicant needs to secure at least 25% marks in each subject and 40% marks in aggregate to qualify for the AISSEE 2022. No reservation is given to SC/ST students for qualifying marks. However, there will be no negative marking in AISSEE 2022.

AISSEE 2022 Result

The result of the Sainik School Admission 2022 based on the performance of the applicants on the entrance exam will be released online. Shortlisted candidates will be able to check the AISSEE result pdf on the official website. Once the results are out, the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview which will be followed by the release of the final result. It will be released in April 2022
