Punjab ITI 2024: The notification about Punjab ITI is released by the Department of Technical Education & Industrial Training (DTE & IT) for admission to various engineering and non-engineering trades under the craftsman training scheme and applied training scheme. The admission is offered by the Government and Private ITIs in Punjab. Candidates can fill the application form on the official website for admission to Punjab Industrial Training Institutes. Eligibility Criteria
- A domicile certificate of Punjab State is required to apply.
- Passed the 8th/ 10th Class from recognized institute/ board.
- Punjabi Stenography- Passed 10th pass under 10+2 system with Punjabi subject compulsory in 10th class.
- For engineering trades: The candidate must have qualified science and maths along with other subjects in the qualifying examination.
- Cutting Sewing and Embroidery Teacher Training Course- Passed 10th with NTC certificate of Cutting & Sewing or Dress Making or Fashion Technology or BBBT in Apparel sector under CoE scheme and NTC certificate of Emb. N. Work or Hair & Skin Care or Fruit & Vegetable Preservation/ Fruit Processing Trade.
- For Art & Craft Teacher Training Trade– Passed 10th pass under 10+2 system studied Drying/ Painting Subject in 8th class/ 10th class/ 10+2 class Or Passed fine art/ commercial arts in 10+2/ B.A. or M.A. classes.
- Driver cum Mechanic – Candidate must have passed 8th class examination and should have completed 18 years of age.
Punjab ITI 2024: Application Form
Candidate can fill the Registration Form from the official website before the last date. Read the instruction pertaining to application form carefully before filling in the Registration Form and also go through the eligibility conditions. Fill all the detail asked in application form and pay the required application fee.
Punjab ITI Admission Procedure
The allotment of the seat is purely provisional. Candidates will be considered for the allotment of seats as per the merit and category of the candidate. Take the printout of the provisional allotment letter and visit the nearest D.I/P.I for further admission process. The candidate has to participate in the next counseling by filling his choices again if no seat is allotted.
Counseling
After the Document verification round, the candidate will participate in the counseling. The Merit List candidates will be able to participate in the counseling. Come at the reporting center for the counseling as per schedule with the relevant document. The candidate will be able to fill choices and on the basis of rank, the seats will be allotted to the candidate. The candidate has to participate in the next counselling if the seat is not allotted.

Fee Structure
- The admission fee for Engineering Trade is Rs 19312 (per Annum)
- For Non-Engineering Trade the admission fee will be Rs 12875 (Per Annum)
- Note – Fee applicable at Govt. ITI’s shall be charged for 5% (five percentages) seats in the private unaided ITI’s/ ITC’s from the poor students whose family income is less than 2 lac per annum.
