OTET 2024 Application form
Register by visiting the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha i.e. bseodisha.ac.in. First of all, read all instructions related to eligibility and application. Search for “Click Here for New Registration” and complete the registration formalities. After registration, you need to enter your email ID and password to log in. Make a payment of requisite application fee either through ATM card, net banking, or cash payment via bank challan. Keep the copy of the registration receipt preserve for future use.
Eligibility Criteria
For Class (Class 1st to 5th)
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 standard or its equivalent.
- Diploma in Elementary Education of minimum 2 years duration with 50 % minimum marks (5% relaxation in the minimum passing marks for candidates belonging to reserved category).
For Class (6th to 8th)
- Passed Bachelor Degree or appearing in the second year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education is required.
- Candidates should have passed B.A. /B.Sc. from any recognized university.
- B.Ed. degree of the candidate must be cleared.
- Minimum passing marks in B.A. /B.Sc. for General/OBC candidates are 50% and for SC/ST candidates are 45%.
Steps to apply for OTET 2024 Application Form
- Visit the official website, www.bseodisha.nic.in.
- Go to the application link and submit the required details.
- Candidates must ensure that all the details provided him are correct.
- Upload the signature and latest passport size photograph.
- Pay the application fee in online mode.
- Submit the application form and go to the payment option.
- Keep a hard copy of the Application Form for future use.
Application Fee
- The application fee amounts to Rs. 500/-
- For SC/ST candidates, the application fee will be Rs. 300/-
- The application fee can be paid through Debit/Credit card, Netbanking options.
Exam Pattern
- It consists of 150questions.
- The question paper carries 150 marks.
- The duration of the examination is 2 ½ hrs.
- Only the MCQ type of questions will be asked.
- The candidate has to secure 60% marks in each paper in order to qualify the test.
