NIFT Application Form 2021
Application forms can be accessed via online mode only. There is no other mode to fill the application form. The online application form will be issued from the website. Candidates have to upload their scanned images, i.e. Photograph & Signature in a JPEG format. Keep the printout of the filled application form for further reference. Applicants are also advised to have the proof of payment of Fee.
Steps to fill NIFT Application Form 2021
- Go to the official website to fill the application form.
- Read the instructions carefully to fill the application form.
- Fill your basic details to log in to apply online such as candidate name, date of birth, etc.
- Click on the submit button and “Proceed to Login”.
- Login with the “Email Id” & “Date or Birth” & click on the submit button.
- Select Step 1 & fill the application form correctly.
- Click on the “Save” button, after filling all the details.
- Select step 2 for uploading scanned photograph & signature in JPG/JPEG format.
- The size of the photograph & signature should not be greater than 50 KB & image size should be.
- Click on the next button.
- Select the mode of payment and pay the requisite fee and note down your reference number for future use.
- Take a printout of the application form for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses
- Last age to be considered is 23 years as on 1 October 2018.
- Last age considered by Authorities is 28 years as above, for ST/SC/PHP.
For B.Des:
- Completed/appearing 10+12th examination from state or central board like CISCE, CBSE, etc. or
- Any Public School/Board/University Examination equivalent as 10+2 from India or Foreign Universities recognized by AIU. or
- GCE (General Certificate Education) Examination (Cambridge/Sri-Lanka/London) at the superior (A) level/IB (International Baccalaureate). or
- Completed/appearing for Senior Secondary School Exam which is conducted by National Open School with at least 5 subjects. or
- Three years diploma holder from a recognized college/institution.
For B.F.Tech
- Cleared in 10+2 exam from state/central board with Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics subject.
- Applicants possessing a diploma of Three years in any stream of engineering are also able to apply.
Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses
- There is no age limit for PG courses.
- Appearing applicants are also able to apply.
For M.Des
- B.Des degree from the applicant institution. or
- Diploma in Bachelor’s design from NID/NIFT only. or
- Bachelor’s diploma of Three-years from NID/NIFT.
For M.F.Tech
- The Given qualification by NIFT is B.F.Tech from National Institute of Fashion Technology. or
- B.Tech./B.E degree from an applicant institution.
For MFM
- Bachelor’s degree from the applicant institution. or
- Bachelor’s diploma of Three-years from NID/NIFT.
NIFT Application Form 2021: Important Points
- You can get the printout of the application by clicking the button “Action 4: View Application”.
- If you have paid the fee through DD only in that case you have to send the print copy of the filled application along with the DD in the above address.
- There is no correction facility available.
- You cannot change the examination center after the form submission.
- At one time, you can only apply for one programme.
- For reserved category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 750.
