NEST 2023 is a national level entrance exam. This university organizes NEST to offered admission in 5 years of integrated M.Sc. program. The admission will be offered by the National Institute of Science Education & Research (NISER), Bhubaneshwar and University of Mumbai-Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai. Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized Board.
- Important Subjects: Candidate must be pass 10th and 12th class from a regular science stream with only a combination of at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
- Minimum Marks: For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories, the minimum requirement of marks is relaxed to 55% in aggregate. Candidates must obtain at least 60% marks in aggregate in class 12th examination.
- Age Limit: After August 01, 200 General and OBC category candidates should be born on and the age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
NEST 2023: Application Form
The application form can be filled by online mode all the candidates have to register on the official website to fill the further online application form. Now candidates open the official web site of the company and click on ‘Registration’ and ‘Login’ candidates have to fill the academic and personal details. While filling application form candidates have to fill the five exam city preferences. After filling the application form candidates can upload the digital copy of passport size photograph and scanned image of signature in .jpeg or .jpg format (size limit: 100 kb). Now candidates can take the printout after submitting the application form.

- Through SBI, payment gateway Application fee can be paid and by net banking facility, it can be paid using debit cards/credit cards issued by all major banks.
Exam pattern
- It is a computer-based exam.
- Through online mode, the exam will be conducted.
- Candidates will get no extra time & candidates may complete the exam within 3 hours.
- There will be Object type questions in the exam.
- Mode: The mode of the exam will be online (CBT) mode.
- Exam duration: The exam will be of about 3 hours.
- Type of Questions: Objective (MCQ) type questions will ask in the exam.
- Total number of Marks: The question paper will be of 230 marks.
- Question paper language: The language of question paper will be English only.
- Sections: There is negative marking for answering wrong in other sections and question paper will consist of five sections, each of the section will be 50 marks but the general section will carry 30 marks.
- Negative Marking: No negative marking in section 1
