NEET Counselling 2020 Procedure
- Visit the official website of MCC and click on ‘New Registration’.
- Register yourself by providing the required details.
- Go to Candidates login and enter your Roll Number and Password.
- Enter details like Name, Roll No., Registration No., Mother’s Name, Contact No., etc. When you’re done, click on ‘Submit’.
- Verify the information and click on ‘Confirm Registration’.
- After successful registration, candidates are asked to submit refundable and non-refundable counselling fee.
- Pay the counselling fee.
- Submit preferences of the choice as many as you want.
- Arrange the choices in order of their preference by moving them up or down, interchange choices and delete choices.
- Enter your password and click on ‘Lock Choices’.
- After locking, take a printout of the locked choices.
- MCC releases seat allotment result after each round of counselling in the form of a list followed by the issue of seat allotment letter to the selected candidates.
- Report to the allotted colleges with the allotment letter and other documents to finish the admission process.

- NEET Seat Allotment letter
- NEET Admit Card and Result/Rank Letter
- Class X and XII Certificate and Marksheet
- Proof of Identity (Aadhar card/PAN card/Passport/ Driving License)
- 8 passport sized photographs (Same as the one affixed on the application form)

NEET Counselling 2020: Important Points
- Only NEET scores will be considered for getting admission in MBBS/ BDS.
- States will prepare their merit list on the basis of All India Ranks, keeping in view the category of the candidates.
- The minimum qualifying marks for NEET exam should be 50% for general, 45% of general-PH, and 40% marks for reserved categories.
- The merit list will be released after the declaration of NEET Result.
- The merit list is only for the candidates who have opted for 15% All India Quota Seats in their NEET 2020 Application form
- Students will be called for counselling on the basis of their rank in the merit list.
- NEET cut off is the minimum marks scored by the candidate in order to qualify the examination.
- NEET cut off will be decided on the basis of a total number of students appearing for the exam, difficulty level of exam, and the total number of seats available.
