MCAER PG CET 2023: Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) conducts MCAER PG CET. It stands for Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education & Research Post Graduate Courses in Agriculture. It is a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to various Post Graduate Programs in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) in Maharashtra. MCAER PG CET is a state-level entrance exam conducted to offer admission in M.Sc in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, and many other courses as well. - Candidates can submit the application fee through online mode that is debit card/ATM card, online wallet etc.
- The fee can also be submitted through offline channels such as through bank mode, by filling in the challan.
Exam Pattern
- The exam will be of 200 marks.
- The questions will be of objective type.
- Every objective question would carry one mark.
- Candidates will have to dark the answer in the OMR sheet with black ink ballpoint pen only.
- There is no negative marking.
- More than one answer for a question would be treated as an incorrect answer.
Exam Centers
The exam of MCAER PG CET will take place at College of Agriculture Pune, Akola, Nagpur, Parbhani, Dapoli, Kolhapur, Dhule, Latur, Badnapur, Biotechnology, Yavatmal, Karad, Ambejogai, Sonapur (Gadchiroli), Dr A.S., Rahuri.
MCAER PG CET 2023 Counselling
- The Counselling process is expected to begin in the month of May 2023.
- Candidates whose name appear in the merit list can take part in the document verification process.
- Candidates would be allowed to take part in the registration and choice locking process after the document verification.
- The decision of the board would be final in all regards related to seat allotment and admissions.
The process of counselling will be on the basis of:
- Choice-locked by the candidate at the time of choice locking process.
- Candidate’s performance in the merit list.
