Maharashtra TET 2024 MAHA TET Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility Pattern

Maharashtra TET 2024: Maharashtra State Council of Examination conducts MAH Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a state-level examination for the recruitment of candidates in primary and upper primary schools of the state. Maharashtra TET 2024 will take place in two parts for two different categories of applicants, one who is applying for the class 1 to 5 teaching eligibility and others who are applying for 6 to 8 classes. The applicants can appear for both the papers or for the one, as per their choice. Candidates who want to make their career as a teacher in Maharashtra state must apply for Maharashtra TET, before the last date of application. To prepare for the exam, we’ve mentioned the exam pattern for both the Papers and also the Syllabus.

Eligibility Criteria

या परीक्षेमध्य़े किमान ६० टक्के गुण प्राप्त करणा-या उमेदवारास (अनुसूचित जाती, अनुसूचित जमाती, विमुक्त जाती / भटक्या जमाती, विशेष मागासप्रवर्ग, इतर मागासप्रवर्ग आणि अपंग उमेदवारांना ५५ टक्के) उत्तीर्ण समजण्यात येईल.

• The age of the applicants must be 18 yrs.

For Paper-I

• Passed Intermediate with a score of 60%
• Passed in 2yrs of diploma in Bachelor of Elementary Education/2yrs diploma in Special Education/4yrs Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.Ed/B.E.I).
• Appearing candidates can also apply.

For Paper-II

• 60% at the graduation level
• Passed in 4yrs of B.Ed, B.EI, or cleared or appearing in 2yrs of diploma in Elementary Education or 1yrs of Special Education.
• Appearing candidates can also apply.

How to fill Maharashtra TET 2024 Application Form

For the online application for Maharashtra TET, the candidate must visit the official website of Maharashtra State Council of Examination, www.mahatet.in. It is advised to candidates must read all the details before applying. The mode of application for the Maharashtra TET 2024 is Online. Candidate must create his/her profile on the portal by using a valid email id. Here, you must provide personal details. In the next step, candidates must provide educational details such as passed examinations and obtained marks. Now, in the next step candidate must upload scanned images of signature, photographs in the given format. The next step asks to fill the category of applicants. Fill the category from which you belong to. Enter no, if you do not belong to the reserved category. The applicant must take a printout of the confirmation page for future references.

Application Fee

• Candidates must pay an application fee for the successful submission of the application form. The application fee can be submitted by any online method like a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
• For General and OBC candidates application fee is Rs. 500 for one paper and Rs.800 for 2 papers.
• For SC/ST candidates’ application fee is Rs. 250 for one paper and 400 for two papers.

Selection Procedure

• The selection process will be done based on the performance in the MAHA TET Entrance Exam.
• Participants will be shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in the Entrance Exam.
• There also will be a Final Round Personal Interview.

Exam Pattern

• The exam will be conducted in offline mode.
• There will be multiple-choice questions in the exam.
• It will be conducted by two different papers for two batches.
• One for those who are applying for class 1 to 5 teachers and others who are applying for the teaching eligibility for Class 6 to 8.
• There is no provision of negative marking.
• Each question will be of 1 mark.

Admit Card

• Candidates can download the admit card of Maharashtra TET 2024 from the official website of Authority.
• Admit card will be issued to candidates 15 days before the commencement of the examination.
• Candidates are required to print a copy of the Admit card.
• Admit card will contain details like Roll number, personal details of the candidate like name, Father Name, Date of Examination, Timing, and venue of Examination.
• Admit card is a mandatory document and must be carried on the day of examination.
• No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall without a valid admit card.

Result

• Candidate can download the result of Maharashtra TET 2024 by entering roll number and date of birth.
• The result of the examination will be available on the official website of the university.
• Candidate can expect results after one month of Examination.
• The candidate must take a printout of the result.

• Mathematics: Numbers, Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Shapes, and Spatial Understanding.
• Child Development Pedagogy: Child development, Understanding children with special needs, the concept of Inclusive Education and Learning Pedagogy.
• Language 1: Comprehension-based question and concept for language development.
• Language 2 (English): Comprehension-based question in English and Development of language.
• Environmental Studies: Air, Water, Parts of Body, Habitats, Natural Resources, Solar system, Food resources, and Care.
