MAH B.Ed CET 2023: It is a state-level entrance exam, organized for candidates who want to take admission in B.ED Course. The notification will be released soon by the Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra State, and Maharashtra Government on the official website. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• The candidates who are not from Maharashtra state should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree awarded by any of the universities qualification recognized by the Govt. of India/NCTE with a minimum of 3 years duration in any discipline or possess an equivalent with minimum 55% of marks for all categories.
• Passed Bachelors’s/Master’s Degree with subjects in Science/Maths/Social Science/Humanity Science/Commerce with minimum 50% marks for general category & reserved category candidate will get relaxation of 5%.
• Appearing candidates of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for CET.

MAH B.Ed CET 2023 Application Form

The application forms are available on the official website which is “bed.mhpravesh.in”. Before filling the application form, candidates must have to read the instruction carefully. Candidates need to register the email address as well as the mobile number before actually filling the application form.  The online application form will be issued from the website.

Application Fee

• The application fee is Rs.800 for Gen/OBC category.
• The fee for SC/ST and PWD category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only is Rs.400.
• The application fee can be paid via online modes.

Exam Pattern

• MAH B.Ed is a computer-based test (CBT).
• The question paper is divided into three sections Mental Ability, General Awareness, and Teacher Aptitude.
• The examination will be of 1:30 hour and will comprise of 100 objective-type questions.
• Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no provision of negative marking.
• Those candidates want to take admission into English Medium Colleges of Education in Maharashtra. They will have to appear for another separate test along with Maharashtra B.Ed CET.
• That is the ELCT (English Language Content Test). It consists of 50 MCQ and 50 Total Marks. The test duration of ELCT will be 60 minutes.

Syllabus

• General Knowledge: Happenings of the surroundings at Local, National, And International Level, including Past Events, Current Affairs including History, Geography, Civics, Science and Technology, Political Science and Literature in General.
• Mental Ability: This test will contain questions based on Series, Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, Relationship, Analogies, Classification, Problems on Dice, etc., either in Verbal or Non-Verbal form.
• Teacher Aptitude: It will contain questions related to your keenness to update your knowledge, leadership qualities awareness about changes in Education and Society, communication, and Professional commitment, etc.
