LSAT 2023: Law School Admission Council (LSAC) conducts the LSAT (Law School Admission Test). Admission to various UG/PG and integrated law courses in various law institutions situated in the country. It is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills. It is a national-level law entrance test conducted offline mode. Admission will be provided in more than 85 law institutions and colleges as per the LSAT score. Registration starts from 3rd week of October 2022
Last date for registration 3rd week of May 2023
Release of admit card 4th week of May 2023
Date of exam 1st week of June 2023
Result Declaration Date 3rd week of June 2023

Eligibility Criteria

  • UG Law Courses: A bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized college or university. Candidates must have 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Integrated Law Courses: Passed 12th board exam of 10+2 education system of CBSE or any other board with 45% marks (which is accepted by most of the colleges).
  • PG Law Courses: Passed UG or integrated law courses from any recognized college with 45% marks.

LSAT 2023 Application Form

There is no offline mode provided to apply for the LSAT exam. The registration of LSAT 2023 can be done through online mode only. Fill the inquiry form first then a confirmation mail will be sent to the registered Email ID. Upload the scanned image of the photograph. Take a printout of the filled application for further use. There is no need to send the printed application to the authority.

Application Fee

  • Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.3800/-.
  • The application fee will be the same for all categories.
  • The application fee can be paid via online mode using debit/credit cards.
  • Payment through demand draft will not be accepted.

Exam Pattern

  • The exam duration will 2 hours 20 minutes.
  • The question paper will comprise of four sections.
  • The question will be of a Multiple Choice Question.
  • There will be 92 – 100 questions will be asked in the exam.
  • 1 mark will be awarded for each correct response.
  • There is no negative marking in the LSAT exam.

LSAT 2023 Admission Process

  • The admission process will be started after the declaration of the result.
  • The admission process will be different from various colleges.
  • A large number of colleges in India accepts LSAT score for providing admission.
  • Download the scorecard and apply to the respective college.
  • Participate in the admission process organized by their respective college.

Syllabus

  • Reading Comprehension: It will have four sets of reading questions each having a selection of reading material, followed by questions that test reading and reasoning abilities.
  • Analytical Reasoning: To measure the ability to understand the structure of relationships and to draw logical conclusions. Reasoning question will be asked deductively from a set of rules & statements or that describes relationships among persons, events, etc.
  • Logical Reasoning: to check the ability to analyze, complete arguments, and critically evaluate. A Candidate has to read and comprehend a short passage, then answer a question about it.
