KVAFSU Admission 2023: Karnataka Veterinary, Animal, and Fisheries Sciences University release the notification about the admissions for the session 2023-21. It is a state university established in the year 2004 in Bidar, Karnataka. KVAFSU provides various Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs. The university also offers Ph. D. in various specializations at the doctorate level. At the PG level, the university offers courses such as Master of Veterinary Sciences (M.V.Sc), Master of Technology (M.Tech), and Master of Fisheries Sciences in one specialization. Eligibility Criteria
- B.V.Sc. & A.H.: 50 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English of the second year PUC of Karnataka Pre-University Board or its equivalent examination.40% for SC /ST candidate
- B.Tech/ B.F.Sc.: PUC of Karnataka Pre-University Board or its equivalent examination Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics as an elective subject
- M.V.Sc./ M.Tech/ M.F.Sc.: Bachelors degree with 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks (5.5/10 for SC/ST category candidates)
- MBA: Tech/ Diploma in Technology/ B.V.Sc./ B.V.Sc. & A.H./ B.F.Sc./ B.Sc.(Agri.)/ B.Sc.(Ag.Maco)/ B.Sc.(Hort.)/ B.Sc.(Rural Home Science)/ B.Tech.(Food Engineering)/ B.Sc.(Food Technology)/ B.Tech. (Agri.Engg.) or degree in B.Sc. (Sericulture) OR OR BBM/ BBA/B.Com. degree
- Ph.D.: Master’s degree with an OGPA of 6.50/10 or equivalent percentage of marks (6.00/10 for SC/ST category candidates)
KVAFSU Admission Process
- B.V.Sc. & A.H./ B.F.Sc./ B.Tech: Entrance (CET) conducted by KEA
- M.V.Sc./ M.Tech/ M.F.Sc.: Qualifying Degree Merit + University Entrance Test
- MBA: Written Test followed by GD and interview
- D.: Qualifying Degree Merit + University Entrance Test
