KTET 2024 Application form
So candidate has to fill out the application form online with the required details such as name, date of birth, Education, and other relevant information. The application form will be available on its official website in the month of April. The candidate must know the instructions carefully by visiting the official website before going to apply. Eligible candidates should apply online only and there is no other mode to apply. After payment of fee and generation of reference ID, the candidates shall apply online. After filling online application, a printout should be generated.

Eligibility Criteria
Category I (Lower Primary)
Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and
- 2 year Trained Teachers’Certificate (TTC) conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent. OR
- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002. or
Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and
- 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
- 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Relaxation in Marks
- As per the norms or as desired by the Govt. of Kerala the relaxation will be given to different categories.
- Relaxation of 3% in qualifying marks is admissible for OBC & OEC candidates.
- Relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks is admissible for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Differently abled categories.
Category II (Upper Primary)
- B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com. and 2year Diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent. OR
- B.A/B.Sc/ B.Com with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition, Norms, and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
- Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and
- 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed or B.Sc.Ed or
- 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
Category III (High School)
- Those who possess minimum educational qualifications as delineated hereunder are eligible to appear for K-TET III.
- The test is for HSAs in Tamil, Kannada, Arabic, Urdu, Social Science, Physical Science, Malayalam, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Natural Science, and Mathematics.
- BA/BSc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or from any other Universities recognized as equivalent thereto.)
- For Botany and Zoology subjects, those with MSc.Ed. Degree in Life Science from any of the Regional Institutes of Education with not less than 50% marks are eligible to apply.
- For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, those who have MSc.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT with not less than 50% marks will be eligible to apply.
Steps to Apply for Kerala TET 2024
- Open the link on the official website and read out the details.
- Fill in all the required information in the application form accurately.
- Upload all the copies of the certificates as required in the form.
- Upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature.
- Pay the application fees accordingly.
- Submit the form and print it out for proof.
- Keep the print with you till the whole process is not over.
Exam Pattern
For Category I –Lower Primary
- There will be only one paper in this category.
- Each question carries one mark.
- All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four distractors.
- The total number of MCQs shall be 150.
- There will be four alternatives out of which one will be the correct answer.

KTET 2024 Admit Card
- Candidates need to visit the official website for Admit card download.
- The Kerala TET Admit Card will be available in the month of June 2024.
- The examination authority will not send the Admit card by post.
- Candidates have to download the admit card online only.
- On the official website enter the applicant’s registration number and date of birth.
KTET 2024 Result
- The Result will be announced online only.
- The candidate has to visit the website after the announcement of the result.
- The examination authority will not send the scorecard individually
- The candidate may get the result by entering the hall ticket number on the official website.
- The candidate must take the print of the result for future reference.
- The result shows the candidate’s Name, marks /Score roll number, exam center, and other information.
