KARTET 2020: Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 Notification has released. It is a state-level examination for the recruitment of teachers in the state of Karnataka. KARTET will be held as per the guidelines that have been mentioned by the departments of School Education, Government of Karnataka. Karnataka TET 2020 will be held in two phases; one for those who are willing to be the Primary teacher (Class 1-5) and others who are participating for the Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8). Candidates shall follow the procedure for submission of online form as given in the information bulletin and user guide manual. Candidates should be eligible in all aspects otherwise their application can be rejected. Candidate must apply before the last of the examination and must follow the instructions given in the brochure.

Karnataka TET 2020 Application Form
The mode of application day for Karnataka TET is online. Applicants should need to browse the government of Karnataka, Department of school education official website, schooleducation.kar.nic.in. Candidates have to submit all the asked details in a given format. The candidate must upload a scanned copy of the image and signature for the application. The Candidate has to send a scanned copy of the document.

Eligibility Criteria
Paper-I For Primary Teacher (class 1-5)
PUC / Senior Secondary Examination (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
PUC / Senior Secondary Examination (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary Examination (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduate Degree holder with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Paper-II: For Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8th)
Graduate Degree holder with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
OR
Graduate Degree holder with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR

NOTE: Relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC / ST / C-I / Differently-abled.

Karnataka TET 2020 Syllabus
- Language 1: Comprehension based question and concept for language development.
- Language 2(English): Comprehension based question in English and Development of language.
- Environmental Studies: Air, Water, Parts of Body, Habitats, Natural Resources, Solar system, Food resources, and Care.
- Mathematics: Numbers, Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Shapes and Spatial Understanding.
- Child Development Pedagogy: Child development, Understanding children with special needs, the concept of Inclusive Education and Learning Pedagogy.
Karnataka TET 2020 Result
Candidate can download the result by entering roll number and date of birth. The result of the examination will be available on the official website of the authority. Candidate can expect results after one month of Examination. The candidate must take a printout of the result.
