Eligibility Criteria
Class I-V (Paper I)
- Applying aspirants must pass the 12th class with a minimum of forty-five % Marks & passed or appear in the final 2-year diploma in elementary education.
- They must qualify 12th class with a minimum of fifty % marks & passed or appear in the final 4-year Bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed.)
- Those applicants who have a BA / B.Sc. degree with a minimum of fifty % marks and B.Ed qualification may also apply.
Classes VI-VIII (Paper-II)
- Those applicants who have a graduation Degree and appear in the final 2 years D.Ed, can apply.
- Applying candidates have a graduation Degree in B.Ed with a minimum of forty-five, fifty % marks.
- They must pass the 12th class exam with 50 % marks and pass or appear in the final 4-year (B.El.Ed) / 4-year B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education), BA/ B.Sc.Ed. A. (Ed.)/ with fifty % in BA or B.Sc is eligible for JAC TET.
JTET 2024 Application Form
Interested candidates can apply online with the help of a registered email ID and a mobile number. After checking the eligibility, the candidates can fill out the application form. To appear in the exam, the candidates must visit the official website. Before filling out the application form make sure to keep the details ready – Date of Birth, Study/ Residence/ relevant certificate for proof of local status, and Aadhar Card Caste in case of SC/ST/BC aspirants. Candidates need to upload the passport size photograph and signature to complete the form. Take multiple printouts for further use.

JTET 2024 Exam Pattern
- MCQ Kinds of questions will be asked in the exam.
- Candidates have two hrs thirty minutes to solve the entire paper.
