UPSC SO/STENO Exam 2019: Eligibility Criteria, Dates, Exam Pattern
For filling up the Section Officers’ Grade and Stenographers’ Grade I/Grade ‘B’ positions, Union Public Service Commission conducts Departmental Competitive Examination. To apply for this recruitment exam, you must be Central Government Employee as Assistant in the Assistant Grade of the Central Secretariat Service (as per the UPSC Departmental Exam Notification). UPSC SO/Steno Exam will be scheduled to be commenced on in the month of December 2019. So candidates are advised to submit their online application forms for this Combined Limited Departmental Competitive Exam. Contenders have to clear a Written Examination, Shorthand Test followed by interview process held on the scheduled date, to be appointed on Section Officers/ Stenographers (Grade-‘B’/ Grade 1) Positions.

Not less than 5 years approved Service and shall also have earned at least four Annual Performance Appraisal Reports in the Assistants’ Grade of the Central Secretariat Service or Personal Assistants’ Grade of the Central Secretariat Stenographers Service. Personal Assistants of CSS shall possess a Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. |

Selection Process

Salary Details
- Qualified contenders will be appointed on available Positions.

Admit Card
- The contenders who applied for the exam must have the hall ticket to write the exam.
- Few days before the exam dates, the aspirants can check the admit card from the website.
- The applicants using the application number can download the admit card.
Results
- The aspirants must have the admit card number to get the result.
- The officials will announce the Result soon on the website.
- Those who secure the minimum marks will be qualified for the next level.
- The contenders must secure the minimum cut off marks as per category SC, OBC, ST, Gen, PWD and al reserved candidates.
