UPSC CMS 2023: The examination for various Group A and group B central services is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). It also conducts the All India Services examination. Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed the written and practical of the final M.B.B.S examination.
  • The age of the candidates must not exceed 32 years.

UPSC CMS 2023: Application Form and Fee

Only the candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can fill the application form. the candidate should be eligible as prescribed by the commission. There will be 2 part registration in the application form. On part 1 of registration, enter the details and register. Validate all the information you have entered on the preview page and if needed do the required changes. Go to the page for “Part 2 registration” which will have four steps to complete the application form. Pay the application fee of Rs. 200. The female/SC/ST/PwDB are exempted to pay any fees.

Paper I

  • Mode: The exam is a CBT exam
  • Language: The language of the paper is English.
  • Duration: Total duration of the exam is 2 hours
  • Types of questions: Paper is an objective type paper.

  • Marking scheme: It follows a negative marking of 1/3rd of positive marks.

  • The total marks for the interview are 100 marks.
  • The candidate is tested upon the general knowledge and academic knowledge of their interested field.
  • Candidate’s intellectual curiosity, critical powers of assimilation, the integrity of character, the ability for social cohesion, initiative and capability for leadership, the balance of judgment and alertness of mind is also tested.
