UPSC CAPF AC 2020: UPSC has released the dates for CAPF AC Examination. Union Public Service Commission conducts the CAPF AC Exam to recruit talented candidates for the post Assistant Commandants in the Central Armed Police Force. Candidates, who wish to join the CAPF as an Assistant Commandant, can apply for this exam. Successful candidates are posted in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Female candidates are excluded from the post in ITBP.
- For the posts of Assistant Commandants (AC) in CRPF, CISF, SSB, and BSF, both Male/Female candidates are the privilege to apply.
- Candidates who want to apply must be holding the graduation degree from recognized University.
- Candidate’s age must be 20 yrs old and the upper age is 25 yrs as of 1st August 2020.
- Candidate must be physically fit and measurement for height, eyesight, and general health.
UPSC CAPF AC 2020 Application Form
The application form will be available on the official website of UPSC. The official website of UPSC is ‘www.upsc.gov.in’. Candidates need to provide all the details correctly in the CAPF application form. Also, upload the required documents like signature and photograph. Candidates need to pay the application fee as well at the time of the submission of the application form. There is no need to send the application form to the official authority. Candidates are advised to take a final print of the filled application form.
Application Fee
- Application Fee can be paid via net banking, debit/credit card.
- Candidates have to pay Rs.200/- as application fee.
- The application fee is exempted for SC/ST category and female candidates.
- The application fee will not be refunded in any case.
Selection Procedure
The selection procedure is categorized into three parts.
- Written examination,
- Physical Endurance Test
- Medical Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PET & PI)
- Then, the Final merit list will be issued.

Admit Card
- Candidates can download their E-admit card from the official website.
- Don’t forget to take admit card while going for the examination.

Result
- The result is expected to be announced in the month of September 2020.
- The result of the Exam will be published on the official website of the UPSC.
- Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the written exam.
- Shortlisted candidates will have to go through a physical endurance test followed by a medical test.
- The final result will be announced accordingly.
Cut Off
- The cut-off will be decided by the commission.
- Selection will be made on the basis of cut off.
- But candidates need to obtain minimum cut off marks in order to qualify for the next round.
