SBI SO 2024 Application Form
Candidates will have to fill and submit the application form to enroll for the SBI SO Exam 2024. SBI SO application form will be available on the official website of the bank. Applicants will have to fill in all the necessary information and personal details in the application form. Candidates will have to upload the scanned photo and signature, after filling in all the personal and educational details in the application form. Candidates shall have to pay the application fee before submitting the application form.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only Citizens of India are eligible to apply.
- OCI and NRIs cannot apply for the exam.
- The age of an applicant should be between 21 to 30 years depending upon the Post.
- The maximum age of an applicant can be in between 30-40 years.
Educational Qualification
For Developer, Test Lead, and Tester post:
- Graduated in engineering from a government-recognized university/institute with some experience in the IT sector.
For Manager and Assistant Manager (Technician) post:
- A full-time PG Degree in Econometrics/ Statistics/ Applied Statistics required with 4/1 years of minimum experience is required for this job position.
For Technology Relationship Manager (Tech.RMs) post:
- Graduate in Engineering from any recognized University /Institution required with minimum of 8 years of experience in IT Industry/ Business.
- Preference is given to the contenders with MBA qualifications.
For Assistant Manager (System) post:
- Applicants must own a B.E/B. Tech in Information Technology/ Computer Application/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunications/Electronics & Communications.
- The applicant should have some experience in computer programming from a reputed organization.

- The transaction charge is borne by the candidate.

SBI SO 2024 Exam Pattern
- A total of 170 problems make up the paper.
- They are 4 sections as Test of Reasoning, English language, Professional Knowledge and Quantitative Aptitude.
- There are 50 questions each in Reasoning and Professional Knowledge.
- 35 Questions are asked each in English Language and Quantitative Aptitude.

For Deputy Manager Post:
- There are three sections in the paper- Test of Reasoning, English language, and Professional Knowledge.
- 70 questions are asked from Reasoning and 50 questions are asked from English and Professional Knowledge each.
- The maximum marks are the same is 220.

SBI SO 2024 Admit Card
- Along with the admit card, they will have to take one photo ID proof as well.
- The admit card will be available on the official website of the bank.
- The admit card will be in pdf format and candidates can take the printout of the admit card.
SBI SO 2024 Result
- The result will be released one month after the commencement of the exam.
- Candidates can check their results online on the official website.
- For 2024, it will be released in the month of February.
- There is no scorecard for candidates.
- A merit list is made for shortlisting candidates for Interviews.
SBI SO 2024 Cut Off
- There are cut-off marks for the online SBI SO exam.
- Qualifying candidates are asked to come for the interview.
- Interview cut-off marks are decided by the Bank itself.
- A merit list of the candidates is also prepared.

SBI SO 2024 Selection Process
- Candidates after taking the online test are called for an interview.
- Candidates are selected for the posts after SBI SO Interview.
- A satisfactory number of candidates, as decided by the State Bank of India, is shortlisted based on their qualifications and knowledge.
- The qualifying marks for the Personal Interview are decided by SBI only.
Section-wise Tips to Prepare for SBI SO 2024
For the English Language
- This section tests grammar knowledge and Basic English.
- Questions of this section include Passage Based questions, Antonyms, and Synonyms, Common errors in Sentences, Rapid Fillers, and Close Tests, etc.
- To enhance the proficiency in solving the passages, cloze test, common errors, fill in blanks, etc, practice grammar regularly.
- A general reading of magazines, books, newspapers, and internet content also helps if done regularly.
- Revise the basic and advanced grammar rules and get familiarized with any unknown grammatical concepts in English.

For Quantitative Aptitude

For Professional Knowledge
- Questions mainly pertain to the field in which the candidates have applied.
- This paper contains 100 marks out of 220 total marks.
