OPSC 2024 Application Form

The Odisha Civil Services Application Form application form will be available on the official website. Before filling the application form, candidates must have to read the instruction carefully. Fill all the compulsory details in the application form such as the name, address and other communication. Candidates will also give the details of the educational qualification. Take and save the printout of the application for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• He/she must be able to read, write and speak Odia.
• The age of the applicants should be between 21 years to 32 years.
• The candidates of reserved categories will get 5 years of relaxation in the upper age.
• He must have completed the graduation or any other equivalent three years’ degree from a recognized institute.

Selection Process

• Candidates’ selection will be done thru the pre, mains and interview assessment test.
• The authority will conduct the Main examination, after the commencement of the preliminary examination.
• After the main exam is conducted, candidates will be invited to prove their suitability for the job through a personality test.
• Candidates’ marks in the pre and main examination will be taken into account for the final selection.

The three stages will be

Exam Pattern

Preliminary Examination

• It will consist of two question papers of objective type.
• It will be a screening test only and the marks of the pre-exam will not be added in the final ranking of the candidates.

Main Examination

• The main examination will be of a descriptive nature.
• Candidates, who qualify for the pre-exam, will be eligible to take part in the main examination.

IV	General Studies-I	300 Marks

VI, VII, VIII & IX	Any two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subjects set. Each subject will have two papers.	300 Marks for each paper

Personality Test

• There will be a panel of interviewers that will test candidates’ suitability for the job through oral conversation.
• The recruiter will judge the candidates’ decision-making ability through the personality test/interview.
• At the time of the interview, candidates need to bring all their certificates along with them.

OPSC 2024 Admit Card

• The recruitment authority will issue a separate admit card for all three parts of the examination.
• Candidates will get the admit card two or three weeks ago of the commencement of the examination, after the submission of the application form through the online website.
• It is important to take Admit Card with you while going to the examination center.
• The candidate will not be allowed to give the exam, without the admit card.

OPSC 2024 Result

• The result will be announced respectively after the exam is conducted.
• Candidates will get the result of the examination on the official website only.
• First, there will be an announcement of the result of the pre-exam.
• Then the result of the main written exam and the interview (combined) will be announced as a final.
