KPSC KAS 2023: For the various posts of Karnataka Administrative Services (KAS and police service and many others, the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) invites applications from the eligible candidates. The KPSC issues the notification for those candidates, who are eligible, can apply for the examination. It is advised to read the official advertisement before applying. KPSC KAS 2023 Application Form
The application form will be available online. Before filling the application form, candidates must have to read the instruction carefully. Candidates will all the required information in the application form. It will be necessary for the applicants to save the application form for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- He must have completed the graduation or any other equivalent three years’ degree from a recognized institute.
- The age of the applicants should be between 21 years to 35 years.
- The candidates of the reserved categories will get relaxation in the upper age.
- For the candidates of the SC and ST category, there will be an upper age relaxation of 5 years.
- The upper age limit for the physically handicapped candidates and the widow will be 10 years.
Application Fee
- There will be an application fee for the application form which candidates will pay through the online modes.
- The online modes of payment of the application fee will be credit card, debit card, or net banking.
Exam Pattern
Pre-Exam
- The Preliminary exam will be the first part of the examination process.
- The standard of Preliminary Examination is that of degree level.
- Each paper will be of two hours duration.

Main Examination and Interview
- The Main exam will be the second part of the examination process.
- The Examination is of conventional (essay) type.
- The Main exam will consist of the written test and the interview.
- The marks obtained in compulsory papers (Kannada and English) are of qualifying nature.
- A minimum of 30% in each paper and 35% aggregate is required, for qualifying in these papers.
- The marks obtained in these two papers are not considered for determining the merit for selection.
- The standard of the main examination except (Kannada and English) is that of degree level.

List of Optional subjects for Preliminary/Main Examination

Candidates can choose one of the following Languages also as one of the optional subjects except the subjects given in the above table. The subjects are as given below.
- Kannada
- English
- Hindi
- Urdu
The following combination of subjects will not be allowed to choose in the main examinations:
- Political Science and International Relations and Public Administration
- Commerce and Accountancy and Management
- Anthropology and Sociology
- Mathematics and Statistics
- Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences
- Not more than one of the Engineering Subjects (Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering)
- Agriculture and Rural Development & Co-operation
- Economics and Rural Development and Co-operation
Viva-Voce / Interview Test
- The personality test will be of a maximum of 200 marks.
- The objective of the Personality test is to assess the personal suitability of a candidate for the job.
- The qualities judged at the time of the personality test are mental alertness, clear and logical exposition, balance of judgment, critical powers of assimilation, variety, depth of interest, the ability for social cohesion, leadership, and intellectual depth of the candidate.
KPSC KAS 2023 Admit Card
After submitting the application form online, candidates will be able to download the admit card for the pre-examination. For the separate level of examination viz. Pre and Mains, there will be separate admit cards. It is important to take Admit Card with you while going to the examination center. The candidate will not be allowed to give exams, without the admit card.
KPSC KAS 2023 Result
- Candidates will get the result of the examination separately viz. Prelims, Mains, and interview.
- The result will be declared through the official website of KPSC.
- After the interview is conducted, APSC will announce the final result.
- The selected candidates will be deployed in the various administrative departments of Karnataka.
KAS exams are conducted once or twice in a year

If u r were 35 in jan or feb month u will not be eligible.
If u were 35 after feb. Then u will be eligible for the said exanlm.
