Indian Navy BTech Entry Scheme 2022: Indian Navy issues the notification for the Indian Navy BTech Entry Scheme 2022 (Permanent Commission) and invites online applications from unmarried male candidates. Candidates will join a four-year degree course under the 10+2 (B. Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) Course in the prestigious Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates can apply online through www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying. Educational Qualification
- Passed Senior Secondary Exam (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent exams from any Board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE).
- The above qualification should be passed with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM-Passing in each subject mandatory) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII)
Physical Standards
- The Minimum height should be 157 cms with correlated weight as per age
- EyeSight: The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision is 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses; should not be color/night blind
- Tattoo: Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on the inner face of the forearms.
Indian Navy B.Tech Entry Application Form
Register and fill the application form for the Indian Navy BTech Entry Scheme 2022 on the recruitment website ww.joinindiannavy.gov.in within the application dates. The application procedure may also require the use of the Aadhar number. Hence, the mobile number and address linked with the Aadhar number should be active. Keep the relevant documents available to enable the correct filling up of personal particulars while applying. Candidates should fill in all the required details as given in the Matriculation Certificate/12th certificate.
Post Details
- Name of the Post: 10+2 (B Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) Course
- Cost to Company (CTC): The CTC for a Sub Lieutenant would be approximately Rs. 83,448/- to Rs. 96,204/- per month. This includes Basic Pay, DA, Military Service Pay, House Rent Allowance (HRA 24%/16%/08% as per the classification of cities), and Transport allowance.
- Other facilities: The Navy provides Free Medical Facilities and Canteen Facilities for Self & dependents, Mess/Club/Sports Facilities, Furnished Govt. Accommodation, Car/Housing Loan at subsidized rates in addition to the CTC
- Group Insurance & Gratuity: Insurance cover of Rs.75 lakhs (on contribution) and gratuity will be granted to the officer.
- Promotions: The promotion from Sub Lieutenant to Commander is on a time scale basis subject to completion of mandatory courses, sea time, and medical condition.

Indian Navy B.Tech Entry Selection Procedure
- IHQ of MoD reserves the right to fix the cut-off for shortlisting the application for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Rank – 2022.
- There will be an SSB for shortlisted candidates.
- The authority will conduct the SSB interview at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam from July – October 2022.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their E-mail or through SMS.
- SSB interview will be of two Stages.
- Stage I test consists of Intelligence test, Picture Perception test, and Group Discussion.
- Stage II test comprises Psychological testing, Group testing, and interviews which will last for 04 days.
- Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on the same day.
- Successful candidates will thereafter undergo a Medical Exam.
- Change of SSB venue for interview is not permissible.
