Steps to Download Merit List
- Visit the official website of UPSC.
- Click on the link showing merit list details.
- Enter your roll number and date of birth and click on ‘Submit’.
- The merit list 2019 with all the requisite details will appear on the computer screen.
- Download the Merit List for the Mains examination.
- Take a print out of the list for future references.
Selection Procedure:
- Stage 1. Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam: To shortlist candidates for IAS / Civil Services Main examination. This exam will be available for objective type questions.
- Stage 2. Civil Services (Main) Exam: To shortlist candidates for next level. This exam consists of written examination and personal interview.
- Stage 3. Final Selection: The total number of marks scored by the candidates in the IAS Main examination (Both written test and personal interview) will be taken into consideration for final merit list.
- The candidate’s selection based on the final merit.
Cut Off
- The cutoff marks for Civils/IAS exams for will be declared by UPSC after the examination and interview.
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on cutoff marks declared by UPSC.
