Eligibility Criteria

  • PRT: Candidate must have qualified B Ed/Two Year Diploma Graduation and Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • TGT: Candidate must have qualified B.Ed and Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • PGT: Candidate must have qualified B.Ed and Post-Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks.

Age Limit:

  • For Fresher candidates: The age of the fresher candidates will be Below 40 years
  • For Experienced: The age of the experienced candidates will be Below 57 years

Army Public School Teacher Recruitment: Application Form

The system will then ask the candidates to pay the exam fee ONLINE. Payment options are Debit/Credit Cards/ Net banking. For the payment process, a payment gateway has been integrated with the web site. Through the payment process, Candidates will be guided. After payment of fee, the candidates will be asked by the system to attach the required documents. After the registration, candidates will get a confirmation that registration is successful. Through e-mail and SMS regarding Candidates will also be informed about the registration. Through the online mode, applicants can fill the application form. Before the due dates, applicants have to fill and submit the application. In this article, candidates can get information about the Registration, application-releasing date, mode, fee & many more. They should keep the printed copy of the registration slip & downloaded the application form for admission purposes.

Application Fee

Application fees by notified mode candidates can pay the application fee for the 8000 PGT, TGT & PRT job in Army Welfare Education Society. The payment mode may be both online/offline. Candidate can also pay the application fee by offline/online mode.

  • The Application Fee will be Rs. 385/-
  • Pay the Examination Fee through Credit Card, Net Banking Debit Card.

Selection Procedure

  • Based on Online Screening Test, Interview, and Evaluation of Teaching Skills Candidates will be selected.

Stage 1 – Screening Exam

  • To ensure uniform quality of teachers in all Army Public Schools screening exams shall be conducted on-line by an agency identified by HQ AWES centrally.
  • Candidates who qualify in this stage will be given Score Cards. From the date of passing the screening exam candidate picks up a teaching job within three years in any CBSE affiliated school for a continuous duration of at least one year.
  • Holders of Score Cards who want to improve their scores. Those desirous of upgrading themselves. For E.g. a candidate holding ScoreCard of TGT may now want to obtain a card for PGT, having acquired additional qualification

Stage 2 – Interview

  • All interviews may or may not be held at the location of the school. As per the discretion of the local management, and Interview may be held.
  • Stage three – Evaluation of Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency, For Language teachers
  • There will be a written test comprising Essay & Comprehension each. The written test will be of 15 marks. It will be held along with the evaluation of teaching skills. If they so desire Selection Committee may also hold Computer proficiency tests.
