AFCAT Application Form 2022 Details
Aspirants can go ahead submitting the application form, who are complying with the above-mentioned eligibility requirements. For AFCAT Application Form 2022, candidates will be required to visit the official website. Applicants need to fill in personal as well as academic qualifications in the application form. Candidates can apply for any of the AFCAT exams as this exam is held twice a year but submit only one application at a time. After submission of the application form, take the printout of the confirmation page or submit the application form for future reference.
Steps to fill AFCAT Application Form 2022
- Visit the official website – https://afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/ and check the “What’s New” Section.
- Download the notification and read it carefully before applying.
- If you are eligible then click on the Apply Online link.
- Register first to fill the form.
- Already registered candidates can login with a registration ID and password.
- Fill in all the required detail in the online application form.
- Candidates will be required to upload a scanned copy of their passport size photograph, signature, and other required documents.
- Recheck each detail in the application form for the correctness and submit it.
- Do not forget to take a printout of the application form for future use.

Exam Pattern
- The question paper will include General Awareness, Numerical Ability, Verbal Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude.
- All the questions will be multiple choices in nature having four choices where applicants have to choose the correct one.
- The duration of the entrance test will 2.00 hours.
- The paper will contain a total of 100 MCQ-type questions.
- The question paper will be of 300 marks where each question will carry 1 mark.
- A penalty of 1/3rd mark will be imposed for attempting the wrong answer.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as of 01 January 2022 i.e. born between 02 January 1998 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive). The upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 January 1996 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive).
Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches. 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2022 i.e. born between 02 January 1996 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive)
Flying Branch
- Aspirants must have completed graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks and they should have Physics and Mathematics subject at 10+2 level.
- Those who have completed B.E./ B. Tech. can also apply.
Ground Duty (Technical)
- One who has completed graduation in any stream with a minimum of 60% marks can apply but the candidate must have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical)
- Candidates having a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks and also having 60% marks in Section A & B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).
