Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for UPSSSC PET 2023, all interested applicants must first read the following eligibility requirements in full:
- The applicant’s age requirement clearly states that he must be 18 years old, and the applicant’s maximum age must be 40 years old.
- Applications are accepted from those who have completed or cleared their standard 10th examination from any recognized board. To be qualified to participate in UPSSSC PET, applicants must be graduates or postgraduates. (There is no condition of UG and PG)

UPSSSC PET 2023 Application Form
- To begin, applicants must go to the UPSSSC’s official website and fill out the application form.

UPSSSC PET 2023 Application Fee
- General/OBC Applicant – Application fee of Rs.185/- (Application fee Rs.160/- + Online Application Costs Rs.25/-).
- ST/SC Applicant – Application fee of Rs.95/- (Application fee Rs.70/- + Online Application Costs Rs.25/-).
- PwD Applicant – Application fee of Rs.25/-.
UPSSSC PET 2023 Selection Procedures
Applicants who do well in the UPSSSC PET 2023 will be summoned for the next Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ main exams for the respective positions after execution of the UPSSSC PET 2023 results. Those that have not registered for the UPSSSC PET 2023 would not be allowed to participate in the main Exams for any vacant positions, and therefore it is essential to register for the UPSSSC PET 2023 as soon as possible. - Obtaining the required minimum passing scores in the PET written test
- Preliminary examination

Pay Scale
In the official notice, it is stated that PET exams will be performed for positions with salaries above Pay Scale 1 (5200-20200) Grade Pay 1900/- and below Pay Scale 2 (9300-34800) Grade Pay 4600/-, as well as for positions with salaries below Pay Scale 1 (5200-20200) Grade Pay 1900/-.
Exam Pattern
- The test will be conducted in an offline/written format (Pen and Paper Based).
- The test will last 120 minutes in total (2 hrs).
- The questions in the UPSSSC PET will be of the Objective Type (i.e. multiple choice).
- For each incorrect response, one-quarter of a point will be deducted.
- The complexity of questions for subjects sr. no. 1 to 9 will be determined by the NCERT Secondary/Senior Secondary degree of difficulty.
- There will be a total of 100 questions of this kind.
