NYKS Recruitment 2023: Nehru Yuva Kendras was established in 1972 and later on, in 1987 it became Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) under the Govt. of Rajiv Gandhi. It is an autonomous organization dependent on the Ministry of Youth & Sport within the Govt. of India. The main goal of NYKS is to provide a rural road for building the nation and offering opportunities to develop the personality & skills of an individual.

NYKS (Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan) going to make an announcement for the recruitment of eligible candidates for National Youth Volunteer vacancies. Pay Scale of NYKS Volunteers

The candidates who will be selected as NYKS volunteers will get Rs. 5000/- per month. The monthly honorarium of every NYKS volunteer will be credited to their relevant bank accounts (SBI A/C linked with the volunteer’s Aadhar Card No.). The pay will be credited through e-banking/ PFMS/ DBT modes only.

Selection Procedure- NYKS Volunteer Recruitment 2023

After completion of the application process i.e. after submission of the applications, the candidates will be shortlisted for interview. The shortlisted candidates will be informed through their registered e-mail ID or SMS/ WhatsApp message on their registered mobile number.

The eligible candidates will be selected based on the interview conducted by the NYKS recruitment authority. Therefore, the candidates need to present personally on the date of the interview on time.

They have to come with the duly filled-in application form along with all the necessary documents in the original form as well the photocopies of the documents. They also have to bring their recent passport size photographs during the interview.

Role of NYKS Volunteers

• Every volunteer plays a major role as a Catholic agent between youth clubs & development departments.
• Organizing NYK’s regular & special events with the help of Youth Clubs.
• The major task of each volunteer is the formation of new Youth Clubs, activation of defunct youth clubs.
• They have to maintain the records of programs organized by Youth Clubs.
• Also, they need to submit online reports/ regular reports highlighting their work on a regular basis.
• The volunteers have to attend the meetings on regular basis at concerned Nehru Yuva Kendra.
• Every volunteer has the responsibility of preparing the Youth’s profile of his/her block.
