RBI Assistant 2024: For the post of “Assistant” in several offices of RBI located across the country, the Reserve Bank conducts the RBI Assistant Entrance Exam. The exam is going to be conducted in three phases: Prelims, Mains and Interview. RBI has four zonal offices, 19 regional offices, and 10 sub-offices in India. The zonal offices in India are in four metropolitan cities Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai. Selection of candidates is done on a merit basis and according to merit, they get posted to zonal, regional, or sub-offices. RBI Assistant 2024 Application Form

The Reserve Bank of India will release the application form for candidates in online mode at its official admission portal. Candidates must read the instructions given in the brochure before applying because any mistake in the application form will be rejected. Candidates are required to apply online along with making payment of the fee in the same mode. The RBI Assistant application fee should be paid while filling out the application form. The online application form will be issued from the website.

Eligibility Criteria

• A candidate is required to be a citizen of India.
• A candidate must range between 20-28 years of age to be eligible for the RBI Assistant 2024 Exam.
• Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to the reserved category.
• Reserved category applicants will be able to avail the benefit of relaxation in their upper age limit.
• A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% and above in any discipline.
• Must hold knowledge of computers.
• A candidate must have proficiency in the official language of the concerned state of Union Territory.

Application Fee

• The application Fee is Rs. 450 for General and OBC Candidates.
• The Application Fee is Rs. 50 (for Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD.
• Candidates can pay the application fee online using net banking or by any credit/debit card.
• RBI staff are exempted from making payment of the application fee.

Exam Pattern

• Both exams will be conducted online.
• For both the Preliminary and Main examinations, there will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests.
• 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Candidates qualifying the main examination will be called for Language Proficiency Test.

Preliminary Examination

• The total number of questions will be 100 of 100 marks.
• Candidates will have to solve the paper for one hour.
• Candidates may choose the question paper language mode as Hindi or English.

Main Examination

Interview

• The Interview will be conducted for 35 marks.
• Candidates, who have cleared the Main exam, they will be called for an Interview.

RBI Assistant 2024 Admit Card

• Admit card from its official website as the admit card won’t be sent to candidates via post.
• There will be separate admit cards issued for the written exam and interview process.
• By using the registration number and password/date of birth of the candidate, it will be possible to download RBI Assistance admit card.
• Before downloading the admit card, the candidates are requested to go through the guidelines mentioned on the RBI Recruitment page.
• It is important to take Admit Card with you while going to the examination center.
• The candidate will not be allowed to give the exam, without the admit card.

RBI Assistant 2024 Result

• RBI will declare the results after the completion of each phase of the examination.
• The Reserve Bank of India will release the result of the written exam and the final result of candidates at its official web portal.
• Only after the publication of the final result, candidates will be able to view their obtained marks in the written exam and interviews.
• Since the main exam is conducted within 15-20 days after the commencement of the preliminary examination.
• The cumulative marks of the preliminary exam, main exam, and the interview will decide the candidates for the post of Assistant in the Reserve Bank of India.
