Eligibility Criteria

UG Courses

• B.A.: 12th or an equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate or 50% marks in the subject concerned.
• B.Tech/B.Arch: Diploma in Engineering/ 10+2/12^th or its equivalent of a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their main subjects, with not less than 55% marks in PCM.
• B.Sc: 10+2 or an equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and 50% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers.
• B.A. LL.B: Candidate passed the class 12th examination in the 10+2 scheme or its equivalent in any discipline securing.

PG Courses

• M.A.: A bachelor’s degree with an advanced diploma from any recognized university/institute with a required percentage of marks in the subject concerned.
• M.Tech/M.Arch: Bachelor’s or any other equivalent and Relevant degrees in Engineering and Technology/Architecture with a required percentage of marks.
• M.Sc: B.Sc./ B.Sc. (H), B.A./ B.Pharma with a required percentage of marks in the subject concerned.
• MBA: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade.
• MCA: Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Natural Science / Social Science/ Engineering /Technology/ BCA/ BSc (IT/CS) with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade and Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 or higher level.
• LLM: B. with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade points.

JMI Admission 2023 Application Form

Candidates have to fill the JMI application form 2023 in online mode only. Before filling the application form, candidates must have to read the instruction carefully. Candidates can submit only one form for each program/group of the program. Candidates can check the status of their application form on the JMI website. The online application form will be issued from the website. Candidates are informed not to send the hard copy of the application form. Retain the hard copy with you for future references.

JMI Admission Procedure

• The admission will be provided only on a merit basis.
• If any candidate fails to show their original certificates at the time of admission, then their admission will be rejected.
• The merit will be prepared on the basis of the score in the entrance exam and interview round.

Admit Card

• The status of your admit card will be delivered to your registered mobile no through SMS.
• You have to take a printout of your admit card through the Admission portal available in the JMI official site.
• Once you have taken the printout of the application form you are required to paste your Recent passport self-attested colored photograph within the space provided.
• It is important to take the Admit Card with you while going to the examination center.
• The candidate will not be allowed to give the exam, without the admit card.

Result

• The result will be announced online on the JMI website.
• Soon after the entrance exam, Jamia University will prepare a separate merit list for each course.
• The result will not be sent to any candidate individually by post.
• You can check the list of the selected candidates and waiting candidates displayed on the website.
• You can not request rechecking/re-evaluation of answer sheets.
• A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam, applicable reservations, and relaxations.

JMI Admission 2023 Counselling

• The counseling will be started after the declaration of results.
• Candidates have to bring their documents along with originals for verification, during the counseling process.
• Original certificates will be returned to candidates.
• After verifications, students have to fill in the “Student Registration Form” which can be obtained from the concerned Dean’s Office/ Department/ Centre.
• Admission will be done on the basis of filled choices, merit, and availability of seats.
• Candidates have to fill in their choices of courses they are seeking admission.
