Steps to fill JIPMER PG Application Form 2021
Registration
- Visit the official site and register yourself by filling the correspondence of the details to each column.
- Date of Birth must be matchable with the 10th
- Information should be valid and match with the above documents provided.
Providing Personal Details
- Applicants have to fill their personal details like name, gender, DOB, nationality etc
- Date of Birth must be matchable with the 10th
Entering ID proof and Category Details
- Provide Identity details & category information.
- Candidates need to enter the details under which category they belong too (whether they come under the deputed or sponsored category.)
- Id proof is necessary which can be Aadhaar Card, Driving license, voter’ ID, Domicile certificate, Photograph etc.
Providing the Academic Details
- Applicants need to provide their educational details like qualifying examination, the name of the college, MBBS/BDS degree, internship details.
- Details regarding occupation, annual income, and educational background have to be mentioned in this section/column.
Providing Contact Details
Applicants have to enter their valid Email id, permanent/present address and mobile number.
Selecting the Exam Centre
- Candidates have to choose the examination centers among 30 cities in India.
- Centre will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of 1st cum serve basis only after the successful payment of the JIPMER PG Application Form.
Uploading Scanned Images & Photograph
- Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph in JPEG/JPG format 30 mm (width) × 45 mm (height) with file size less than 80 kb.
- The signature should be in JPEG/JPG format having dimension 80 mm (width) × 35 mm (height) with file size less than 80 kb.
Payment of Application Fee
Applicants have to remit payment via online mode through DR/CR card/Net Banking.
Declaration Form
For final submission, candidates need to click on the declaration form. Candidates are suggested to check all the details in the application form and if required they can edit their details. After rectifying, click on ‘Submit Column’.

Eligibility Criteria
- Age: At the time of appearing in the entrance exam year, all the candidates should be more than 20 years of age.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have an authentic MBBS degree from a state-recognized university.
- If candidates applying for MD/MS programs, the MBBS degree should also have the approval from the Medical Council of India.
- Nationality: Indians living overseas (OCI) are also eligible to apply for this exam. But they have to proof of registration as OCI at the time of counseling, to get enrolled in the admission process.
- Experience: All the aspirants must have completed the pre-requisite of 12 months rotating practical training/internship for January session, on or before last week of December. This condition is only when the candidates are applying for the January session.
- All the aspirants must have completed the pre-requisite of 12 months training (internship or practical) for July session before 30 July. This condition is only when the candidates are applying for the July session.
- Minimum Marks: All the candidates must have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (for the candidates belong to General category) in MBBS degree (50% for the reserved category students belongs to SC/ST).
JIPMER PG 2021 Counselling
Candidates need to get prepared in order to appear for the counseling process after the result declaration. The first round of counseling will start in the month of June 2021. The second round will be commenced in the month of July 2021. According to their category rank in the exam, candidates need to attend the counseling.

Important Points
- JIPMER PG Application form with be available only through online mode.
- JIPMER PG application forms are available twice in a year in the month of January and in May.
- After the successful submission of the JIPMER PG Application form, candidates are not permitted to make any correction in the application form.
- Upload the signature a colorant color passport size photograph (in jpg/jpeg format) with the file size, not more than 80KB.
- Take the printout of the filled-in application form and keep it safely for future reference.
