JEE Main entrance is concluded as the most popular top-level examinations of India. It is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) twice a year. JEE Main Counselling 2020 will be held after the commencement of examination. The candidate will be invited on the basis of rank obtained in the merit list. Candidates will be given admission in engineering courses such as B.E., B.Tech, and B.Arch through JEE Main Counselling 2020. Steps of JEE Main Counselling 2020
- Candidates have to register to participate in the counseling process.
- Visit the official website of JoSAA for registration.
- Login by the help of roll number and password of JEE Main.
- Fill all the registration details carefully and click on the “Confirm Registration” button.
- Candidates not be required to pay any fee for choice filling & locking.
- Fill and lock the choices by the login and lock them.
- Fill maximum choices for the seat allotment.
- The last saved choices will be locked automatically if a candidate forgets to lock.
- The seat will be allotted to candidates as per the filled choices.
- Take a printout of the “Provisional Seat Allocation Letter” and e-challan for seat acceptance.
- Choose freeze, slide or float options for subsequent rounds at the time of accepting the seat.
- Pay the seat acceptance fee through e-challan & SBI net banking. Candidates paying the fee through e-challan.
- Appear at the reporting center with all the required documents for verification.
- If candidates fail to report to the allotted center their offer will be rejected.
- After the verification of documents, the seat will be confirmed by the reporting center.
- Report to the allotted college or institution with the documents and admission fees as prescribed by the allotted college.

- 12th class performance check
- Undertaking by the candidate
- Three passport size photographs
- Provisional seat allotment letter
- Proof of seat acceptance fee payment
- JEE Main admit card, scorecard
- Date of birth proof (10th class mark sheet)
- 12th class mark sheet & passing certificate (if available)
- Medical certificate
- OCI certificate or PIO card
- Category and PWD certificate (if applicable)
- Registration-cum-locked choices for seat allotment
- A photo ID card (issued by govt./last attended school/12th class admit card)
