JEE Main 2021: JEE Main is among the most popular entrance exams in India. It is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) twice a year. The exam offers admission in engineering courses such as B.E., B.Tech, and B.Arch. The candidates get admission into NITs, CFTIs as well as other reputed engineering institutions. JEE Main 2021 Application Form
JEE Main 2021 Application form will be made available only via online mode. Application forms for the first attempt will be released near about in September. Candidate must have the Adhar Card number or its enrollment number. Candidates must keep a scanned copy of their recent passport size photograph as well as signature. Fee for application form will be accepted via online mode: credit card, debit card, or e-challan.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Criteria: There is no age limit to apply for JEE main.
Qualification Criteria
- It is necessary for the candidates to clear standard 12th examination/ qualifying examination.
- 12th with the core 5 subjects should be done in order to be eligible for JEE Main.
- Candidates must qualify the intermediate standard with PCM subjects.
- The candidate must have scored at least the passing marks.
- Those who had passed or appeared in the higher secondary examination in 2019 and 2020 will also eligible to apply.
- Candidates appearing in the final examination of 12th in 2021 can also fill the form.
- Diploma holders will be eligible to apply for JEE Main.
- They are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced but the scores of JEE Main score will not be taken into consideration for admission.
Number of Attempts
- Attempts will be counted from the year 2019 onwards.
- Applicants can attempt at least 3 times for clearing the JEE Main.
- JEE Advanced will be conducted twice in a year.
- Attempts will be a maximum of 2 times in consecutive years.

Exam Pattern
For Paper 1 (For admission to Tech / B.E.)
- Conducted through offline (PBT)as well as online (CBT) mode depending on the candidate’s preferences.
- The paper-1 will comprise of PCM subjects.
- The duration of the examination will be of 3 hours.
- The objective types of questions will be there.
- The medium of the question paper will be in English & Hindi.
- +4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
- One mark will be deducted for every wrong response.

- The duration of the examination will be of 3 hours.
- +4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong response.
