Institute of Chemical Technology Mumbai Admissions
The application forms will be available in online mode for the candidates to apply for the admissions in the institute. Candidates will be required to enter their information such as Date of Birth, Address Details, etc and also the details of their education starting from 10th to graduation. Keep the scanned documents ready for uploading like the mark sheets starting from 10th till graduation will be required. More certificates will be required such as caste certificate, category certificate, migration certificate and domicile certificate. Eligibility Criteria
- For B.Tech. Course: The candidate should have 12th Pass certificate with JEE Main scorecard.
- For M.Tech.: Candidates should have a B.Tech. degree in respective stream. A valid GATE scorecard is mandatory to show in the admission process.
- For PhD Course: Candidates must have PG Degree.
Seat Reservation
- For B.Tech. and engineering course, 70% of the total seats are reserved for Maharashtra Candidates and rest of 30% is reserved for All India students.
- For B. Pharma course all the seats are reserved for the candidate from Maharashtra State.
Application Fee
- Application fee amounts to Rs-800/- for general candidates.
- Application fee amounts to Rs-400/- for SC/ST candidates.
- Mode of applying & remitting fee would be via online mode.
Admission Procedure
- For Bachelor’s courses, the admission will be commenced on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the exam of JEE.
- For Master’s & PhD courses, the admission will be commenced on the basis of scores of the candidates in the written test and interview.
- For some categories, the candidates will not have to appear for the entrance exam for admission.
Admission Process for Institute of Chemical Technology is conducted in 2 stages as:
Stage I
- The Authority will prepare a list of merit from the applicants who have a valid score of JEE Exam & GATE.
- The Candidates of this list will not have to appear for the entrance exam.
- These candidates will appear only for the Interview session.
Stage II
- This stage will be applicable only if the seats remain unoccupied.
- The authority will consider the candidates who don’t have a valid score of JEE exam & GATE exam.
- The candidates will have to appear for the written exam organized by the authority for the selection of candidates for admissions in the institute.
- The candidates who will clear the written exam have to appear for the interview round.
