IISc Admission 2023: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore is one of the best institutes which offer admission to eligible candidates in the field of research. The Institute does not schedule any separate entrance examination for IISC, hence the admissions will be done on the basis of national level entrance examination scores. The institute provides admissions in UG & PG programs through JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET, CEED, JAM, JEST, UGC NET, KVPY & other entrance tests. Candidates who have passed their class 12th examination are eligible to apply for IISc Admission 2023.

- Candidates should pass the entrance exam (JEE Main, JEE Advanced, KVPY, and NEET).
For M.Tech Courses
- Students must have a bachelor’s degree in the field of engineering and technology.
- Candidates must have a master degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Physical Sciences, Instrumentation
- MCA candidates are also eligible for the exam.
- Candidates must be passed in a GATE exam.
For M.Mgt Courses

IISc Admission 2023: Application form
Candidates have to register on the admission portal and need to fill in all the details such as name, nationality, date of birth, email ID, choose a security question, and then submit the registration form. Candidates get the verification code on the registered mobile number. After the login candidates had to fill the application form completely. After the login candidates enter their details 10th class and 12th class details, registration number/ score of JEE Main/ JEE Advanced/KVPY, gender, state of domicile, mother tongue, category, OBC sub-classification, sub-category, contact details, etc.

IISc Admission Counselling 2023
- Admissions will be done as per the applicable reservation of seats and the Merit Rank in the respective Merit List.
- In the admission procedure, there will be multiple rounds of seat allotment.
- The merit list will be prepared according to the candidate’s score marks.
- For undergraduate Selection will be based on the merit list of the exam such as KVPY, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and NEET UG for the undergraduate candidates.
- In postgraduate course admission in M.Tech courses will be based on GATE score.
