IGNTU Admission 2022: Form, Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Procedure
Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Amarkantak was established by an act of the parliament of India in 2007.IGNTU offers admission for the Graduate Post Graduate, Diploma, Certificate, and Ph.D. Programs. The objective of the University is to provide avenues of education, Viz a viz especially higher education and research facilities primarily for the tribal population of India. The Tribal Communities University is working to take appropriate measures for promoting the Tribal communities to be able to manage, administer and look after their own needs by access to higher education through a university of their own. For IGNTU Admission 2022, the mode of application is online. The candidate must apply before the last date of application.

IGNTU 2022 Application Process
- The mode of application for IGMTU is online.
- Candidate must visit the university’s official website, igntu.ac.in for the Application.
- They are required to have a valid email id and mobile number .they should be kept until the completion of the program if admission is granted.
- Candidates are required to upload a recent photograph and signature.
- Before applying candidate should have a scanned copy of the recent photo and a scanned copy of the signature.
- Candidates can pay the application fee through a bank challan.
- The bank challan is generated after filling out the online application form or can also pay by depositing a fee in the University account number by NEFT.
- One day after filling application form candidate can take the printout by using the application number and password.
- The application fee for the 2nd phase application form for the General/OBC candidate is Rs.300 while for the SC/ST/PH candidate is 100.
- For a 1st phase application form, Rs. 500 is the application fee for General/OBC candidates while for SC/ST/PH candidates’ fee is Rs.300.
- University will not accept any offline/postal mode of application.
Eligibility Criteria
For UG Courses:
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized board.
- The minimum pass percentage for the General candidate in the qualifying examination is 50%.
- For the candidates of SC/ST/PWD/Kashmiri migrant/Transgender candidates, the minimum pass percentage must be 45%.
For PG Courses:
- The candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.
- The minimum pass percentage for the General candidate in graduation is 50%.
- For the candidates of SC/ST/PWD/Kashmiri migrant/Transgender candidates, the minimum pass percentage must be 45%.
For PhD Programme:
- The candidate must have a Master’s degree from a recognized Indian or Foreign University.
- Candidate must have secured 50% in Master’s degree.
- Candidates belonging to the reserved category must have secured 45% in a master’s degree for eligibility.
Age limit
- A candidate seeking admission to all Hons (UG) Programme shall not be more than 2 years. However, 05 years of relaxation shall be provided to SC/ST categories.
- The candidate seeking admission to all P.G. courses shall not be more than 25 years. However, 05 years of relaxation shall be provided to SC/ST categories.
