ICT Mumbai Admission 2023: Exam Date, Application Form, Procedure

The ICT Mumbai provides various PG and Ph. D programs to the candidates in the chemical technology. The ICT Mumbai Admission 2023 stands for the Institute of Chemical Technology Mumbai. ICT (Institute of Chemical Technology), Mumbai formed in 1933, is one of the world’s most leading Deemed Universities, funded by the Government of Maharashtra. Admission to various Master’s courses will be awarded through an entrance exam conducted in the month of June to July. ICT Mumbai Admission 2023

Admission to these various programs will be decided through an entrance test. The entrance test will be conducted in the month of June to July. Before applying for PG & Ph.D. courses, the applicant must read the handbook carefully. The applications can be filled out online at the official website at ictmumbai.edu.in. as per the schedule. Applicants need to upload only soft copies of passport-size photographs & various documents such as caste certificates, mark sheets, caste validity, etc. Remit the application fee otherwise, your application form founds to be incomplete. The whole process will include written tests and interviews.

Eligibility Criteria for M.tech & M.Sc

For M.Tech:

• A B.tech degree is required with a percentile of 55% marks.
• Admission to the M.Tech courses will be based on the marks secured by the candidate in the GATE exam.

M.Sc:

• B.Sc is concerned with the score marks of 55% marks.
• Admission to M.Sc courses is based on a written test conducted by the university, pursue by the interview.

For Ph.D

Science (Biochemistry, Food Science, Engineering Mathematics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, Textile Chemistry, Nanoscience): M.Sc in respective subjects.

Technology (Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Engineering & Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Biotechnology, Oils, Oleochemicals & Surfactants, Pharmaceuticals, Polymer & Surface Engineering, Bioprocess Technology, Dyestuff Technology, Fibres & Textile Processing, Green Technology, Perfumery & Flavour Technology, Nanotechnology): M.Tech in the concerned disciplines is required

Application Fee

• Application fee amounts to Rs-800/- (for general) & Rs-400/- (for SC/ST).
• The mode of applying & remitting fees would be via online mode.

Selection Procedure

• The admission to the Ph.D. course will be based upon the written entrance test conducted by ICT.
• Candidates who qualify for the written entrance test will be called for the interview round.
• At the time of admission, candidates have to present along with will all their necessary documents.

Admission Procedure

• The admissions will be based on the written test and the interview for all the PG programs and doctoral programs.
• However, in some cases, the applicants will be exempted from appearing in the written test.
• This process will bifurcate on two levels.

Level I

• A separate merit list will be prepared for those candidates who have a valid score on the GATE exam.
• For these candidates, there will be no written test however it is compulsory for them to appear for the interview.
• Once these candidates select their choice of course and there are still some seats remaining, only then there will be a level 2.

Level II

• This is for those candidates who don’t have the GATE exam score.
• The candidate has to appear for the written test as well as for the interview.
• Dates will be updated soon when the conducting authority will release the notification.
