HPU M.Ed 2024: Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) releases the notification for admissions into the M.Ed course. The admission will be provided to the candidates on the basis of marks scored in the examination and eligibility criteria. Candidates can submit the application form through the official website or from the link that will be active on this page. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have done anyone from B.Ed., B.A.B.Ed., B.Sc.B.Ed., B.El.Ed., D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree with at least 50 percent marks or an equivalent grade.
- There is no upper age limit for the candidates applying to the regular M.Ed. course of two years.
- No relaxation in the percentage of marks shall be granted under any circumstances.
HPU M.Ed 2024 Application Form
Visit the official portal of the Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) HPU M.Ed 2024 hpuniv.ac.in. Select the Online Admission and select the PG course and choose the M.Ed course. Enter the login details and hit on register. Fill out the Application Form completely with the correct details and pay the application for General Candidates is Rs.700/- and for Reserved candidates is Rs. 350/-. Download and take a hard copy of the Application for future use.
Admission Procedure
The admissions shall be on the basis of marks in the entrance test or as per the policy of the state/ central government/ the university by applying the 120 reservation point roster of H.P.University, Shimla. The minimum qualifying marks for the entrance test will be 35% for calling the candidates for an Interview / Admission
Counselling Procedure
The counseling procedure will be for the selected applicants from the merit list. The shortlisted applicants have to be present at the counseling center with the required documents. On the basis of marks scored in the examination, category, choices filling, and document verification, the seats will be allotted to the candidates.

- Matriculation certificate or equivalent document
- +2 certificate or equivalent
- A./B.Sc/B.Com., Pass/Honours courses I, II, III
- A/M.Sc. (Copy of B.Ed certificate in case of seeking admission for M.Ed. course).
- Experience-cum-character certificate from the head of the institution i.e. Headmaster/Principal was employed (Compulsory)
- Appointment letter and joining report (Both Compulsory)
- An Affidavit as per specimen of DE-12 A is to be submitted at the time of counseling which is compulsory
