HPCET 2024: Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance test conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU). After qualifying the exam candidates to get admission in B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, MCA and MBA courses affiliated to HPTU. Those candidates who have qualified JEE mains are eligible for direct admission. Admission shall be strictly made on the basis of performance in HPCET. The mode of application will be offline/Pen-Paper mode while the duration of the examination will be of 3 hours. Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech. – Candidate must have passed or appeared in 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subjects with at least 45% marks.
- B.Pharma (Direct Entry) – The age of the candidate must be greater than 17 years. Candidate must have passed or appeared in 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subjects with at least 45% marks.
- B.Pharmacy (Ayurveda)- Candidate must have passed or appeared in 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subjects with at least 45% marks. The criteria of minimum marks for reserved category candidates is 40 %.
- M.Tech – Candidate must have passed a bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) in engineering/technology/or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% while for reserved category is 45%.
- M.Pharmacy-Candidate must have passed or appeared in Pharmacy or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% while for reserved category is 45%.
- MBA- Candidate must have passed a bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) in engineering/technology/or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% while for reserved category is 45%.
- MCA- Candidate must have passed a bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) in engineering/technology/or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% while for reserved category is 45%.
HPCET 2024 Application Form
- Applicants must read the eligibility criteria and guidelines before applying. The mode of Application for the HPCET 2024 is online.
- Applicants must go through the official website, www.himtu.ac.in.
- Candidate must create his/her profile on the portal by using a valid e-mail id. Here, you must provide personal details.
- At first, the candidate has to register themselves to get a unique user id and password, after this, have to give elementary details asked in format, such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s name, DOB, category, Email id, Contact number, Gender, Address etcetera.
- After filling all details, click on the submit button, the next window will show your application number, note down the application number to use it during the sign-in process.
- Now login by using the application number, date of birth and upload scanned copies of signature and photographs in jpg format.
- In the next step, you have to pay the application fee, you can pay the application fee by any of the online methods such as debit card /credit card /net banking.
- After successful submission of payment, take the printout of confirmation page and slip of payment proof for the future references.
