HP LEET 2023: The Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board’ (HPTSB), Dharamshala conducts the ‘Lateral Entry Entrance Test’ (HP LEET) to the eligible candidates. Applying candidates who are registered for engineering courses across the entry scheme in Himachal Pradesh in any government or private university will have to pass the HP LEET 2023. The Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board has done this examination for the candidates. Eligibility Criteria
- Only Indians can apply for the examination.
- The age limit of the candidates must be 15 years to 20 years i.e., both years included.
- They must have passed the 12th class from a school affiliated to a recognized board of education.
- The final year candidates of the qualifying exam are also eligible.
- Those applicants, who have passed the 10th class and 2 years ITI/COE course, will also be eligible to apply.
HP LEET 2023 Application Form
Applying applicants will first have to register and then apply for any course that they need. They will have a telephone number, genuine email Id, etc. For registration on the website. Registration helps to the candidates when they will be filled the application form. After the signing-in is done the candidates will have to activate it by pressing on the link. Candidates will now be able to sign in with their username and password to get in the application form. Candidates will just have to fill in the right details such as educational information, Personal information, Domicile information, Parent information, Category information, preferred center. They must be filled all the right details in the application form and should be matching the other documents. The application form will be rejected if the candidates fill in the wrong details in the application form.
Application Fee
- Through net banking, Candidates will be able to pay the fee or by using a Credit card and debit card.
- They can be paid the application fee by DD and the information will be available on the form itself.
- The confirmation will then show on the screen with the number that should be saved by the candidate after the payments have been finished.
- For the general category: They will have to pay 650 RS/
- For the SC/ST/OBC category: They will have to pay RS 400/
Payment through DD
- For the general category: Candidates will have to pay RS 750/
- For the SC/ST/OBC category: Candidates will have to pay RS 450/
Exam Pattern
- The question paper will be in two languages, which are English & Hindi.
- There will be multiple-choice questions in it.
- To complete the paper there will have three hours for the candidates.
- For each correct response, four marks will be added to the final score.
- For every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted as a penalty.

HP LEET 2023 Counselling
After the announcement of the LEET Result, the HP LEET Counselling will be commenced. On the basis of the result of the exam & interview, the authority will shortlist candidates. The governing authority will organize counselling sessions to take admissions. There will be multiple counseling sessions for the candidates. At any round of counseling, applicants have the choice to appear for counselling. After checking, all the documents the original one will have to be returned back to the candidate by the university. They will be rejected for their registrations if the candidate fails in the checking procedure and their seats will be given to other candidates.
