HP LEET 2020: For admission into the various diploma programs in the public and private polytechnic institutes of Himachal Pradesh, the Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board’ (HPTSB), Dharamshala conducts the ‘Lateral Entry Entrance Test’ (HP LEET) to screen the eligible candidates. Candidates can get admission directly in the 2nd and 3rd year of the polytechnic courses by HP LEET 2020. Those candidates who have completed their higher secondary education from a school affiliated to a recognized state or CBSE Board can appear in the HP LEET. Eligibility Criteria
- All Indian nationals can apply for the examination.
- The age of the applicants must be 15 years to 20 years i.e., both years included.
- Candidates must have completed the higher secondary education from a school affiliated to a recognized board of education.
- Appearing candidates in the qualifying exam will also be eligible to apply for LEET 2020.
- Candidates, who have passed the secondary school exam (10th) and 2 years ITI/COE course will also be eligible to apply.
HP LEET 2020 Application Form
On the official website of the Board, the HP LEET Application Form 2020 will be available. Fill all the details correctly in the required format in the application. Candidates need to fill and submit the LEET application form through online mode only. Upload the scanned passport size photo along with the scanned signature. The final step is to submit the Application Form online and save the confirmation page.
Application Fee
- Candidates will be required to pay the application fee to complete the application process.
- General Category: Rs. 650
- SC/ST/OBC Categories Category: Rs. 400.
- The application fee can be paid through the online mode.
- Candidates can use a credit card, debit card or net banking to pay the fee.
Exam Pattern
- The exam will be of objective nature.
- There will be 100 questions in the exam.
- The question booklet will be set and supplied in bilingual i.e. English & Hindi.
- The questions will have multiple choices for answers.
- For every correct answer, there will be 4 marks.
- 1 mark will be deducted as penalty for every wrong answer.

Cut Off
- The board will make a cut off list for the candidates appearing in counseling.
- Priority will be given to those candidates who have marks above than stated in cut off list.
- If any seats remain vacant then the students having marks below than cut off marks will be admitted to the course.

Counselling
The Counselling will be commenced after the announcement of the LEET Result 2020. The authority will shortlist candidates on the base of the result of the exam & interview. The governing authority will organize counselling sessions to take admissions. Multiple counselling session will be there for candidates. The candidates have the choice to appear for counselling at any round of counseling.
