Haryana TET 2020: The Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET) is a state-level exam conducted for the recruitment of teachers in government schools of Haryana. The Haryana TET 2020 will be held as per the guidelines that have been mentioned by the departments of the Board of School Education, Government of Haryana (BSEH). A candidate needs 60% to become Haryana TET 2020 qualified and certificate is valid for a period of 7 years. The Haryana TET will take place in three steps or papers. One of the candidates applying for PRT, second for those who are applying for TGT and paper 3rd for PGT candidates. The fees amount increases if the applicant opts for more than one level. Eligibility Criteria
For Paper 1 (Primary Teacher)
- Candidates of this group must have passed senior secondary or equivalent exams with a minimum of 45 % of marks and a two-year diploma in education.
- Candidate must have completed B.EL.ED or studying in the final year.
- Candidate must have completed or in the final year of D.Ed (Specialization) in an institute recognized by RCI.
- Candidate must have completed or in the final year of BTC/passed in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
For Paper 2 (TGT):
- Candidate in this category should have a Bachelor’s degree in B.A./B.Com./B.Sc etc with a two-year diploma in Education.
- Candidate must have completed B.EL.ED or studying in the final year Or
Candidates who are in the final year of
- B.Ed. in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
- L.T. in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
- B.Ed. in an institute affiliated to RCI are eligible.
For Paper 3 (PGT):
- Candidates must have a post-graduation degree in a particular subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
- Candidate having graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed or diploma in Education are also eligible.
Haryana TET 2020 Application form
Candidates can apply for the Haryana TET by login the official website of the authority. Candidates have to submit all the asked details in a given format. The candidate must upload the scanned copy of the image and signature for the application. A candidate has to send a scanned copy of the document.

Exam Pattern
- Haryana TET 2020 exam will be conducted in offline mode as well as in online mode or computer-based tests.
- There will three papers; one for those who are applying for the primary teacher (1 to class 5th) and the second paper will be for those who are applying for the teacher for class 6th to 8th and the 3rd one for PGT.
- The Question papers will be of objective type.
- There is no provision of negative marking.
- Each question will be of a maximum 1 mark.

HTET Certificate and Validity
- The issuance of the HTET certificate will be after the announcement of the result.
- The Board of School Education, Haryana, will release the certificate of eligibility to the qualified candidates only.
- The certificate will be valid for a period of 5 years, from the date of issuance.
- There will be separate certificates for students who qualified in more than one level.

- Child Development Pedagogy: Child development, Understanding children with special needs, the concept of Inclusive Education and Learning Pedagogy.
- Language 1: Comprehension based question and concept for language development.
- Language 2 (English): Comprehension based question in English and Development of language.
- Environmental Studies: Air, Water, Parts of Body, Habitats, Natural Resources, Solar system, Food resources, and Care.
- Mathematics: Numbers, Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Shapes and Spatial Understanding.
Haryana TET 2019: Important Points
- Download the admit card of Haryana TET 2020 from the official website of Authority.
- Candidates will get the admit card 15 days before the commencement of the examination.
- Print a copy of the Admit card and take it with you in the examination hall.
- Admit card will contain details like Roll number, personal details of a candidate like a name, Father Name, Date of Examination, Timing, and venue of Examination.
- Admit card is a mandatory document to carry on the day of examination.
- No candidates can enter the examination hall without a valid admit card.
- The result of Haryana TET 2020 will be available on the official website of Authority.
- Candidate can expect results after one month of Examination.
- Download the result by entering the date of birth and roll number.
- The candidate must take a printout of the result.
