New Changes Introduced

• Registration can be done on the same portal through one application for both merit-based and entrance-based courses.
• On entering the roll number & other details, the details of the applicant’s marks in the 12th class will be automatically captured from the database provided by CBSE.
• Candidates can now submit their three best certificates instead of one, for admission in the sports category.
• The certificates have to be uploaded as three separate documents.
• Five years integrated course in Journalism has been added as a new course to the portal.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants who wish to get admission in Bachelor’s degree in Science must have qualified for the 12^th or equivalent examination with either PCB/PCM.
• The applicants who wish to get admission in PG courses must have completed any of the UG courses in related disciplines from a recognized university/institute across India.
• The applicants must have a graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.

Reservations

• For ST candidates – 71/2 seats
• For SC Candidates – 15% seats
• For PWD candidates – 3% seats are reserved for the candidates having 40% -physical disabilities
• For OBC candidates – 27% of seats
• For Foreign Students – 5% seats
• For Armed Forces – 5% seats
• Sports/ECA Quota – 5%

Documents/Details Required to fill Delhi University Application Form 2019

• Identity Proof (maximum size: 50 KB).
• Scanned Photograph & signature (maximum size: 50KB).
• Class 12th Marks-sheet, if result declared.
• Class 10th Board Certificate (For DOB) (maximum size: 100KB).
• Income Certificate (for OBC-NCL) (If applicable).
• Caste Certificate (If applicable) (Maximum size: 100KB).
• Extra-Curricular Activities Certificate(s) (If applicable).
• Sports Certificate(s) for the last three years (If applicable).

Steps to fill Delhi University Application Form 2022

Step-1 Online Registration:

• Visit the official website for registration i.e https://ug.du.ac.in/
• Search for the link “Link to Admission Portal” and click on it.
• Fill in all the required details in the “New User Sign up”.
• Click on the register button.
• Click on that link sent in your registered email Id to confirm your DU Online registration.
• Login again to fill the application form.
• Click on the “Apply Now” button.

Step-2 Fill the Application Form:

• Fill in personal details, academic details, course selection, family details, address, sports, ECA, etc to complete the registration.
• Click on the “Submit” button.

Step-3 Upload Scanned Images:

• Upload the scanned documents in a given format.
• Click on the “submit” button, after uploading the scanned images.
• Before making a payment, the candidates can preview the entire Delhi University application form.

Step-4 Make Payment:

• Candidates can submit the fee through the online payment mode, after a successful registration.
• Click on the “Click to Make Payment” button.
• Take the printout of the DU Admission Form 2019 and keep it safe.

• The only online payment option will be available for paying the application fee that includes credit card/debit card/net banking.

Delhi University Application Form 2022: Important Points

• The application form will be available only through online mode. There is no offline application form.
• After the submission of the fee, no changes will be allowed. You have to fill a new admission form with a new id & password & submit the fee again.
• The application fee can be submitted only through an online payment mode.
• Once scanned images are uploaded cannot be changed.
• There is no need to send a hard copy of the application form anywhere, if required you will be notified.
• In case the mark sheet is not issued by the board, then candidates can download their mark sheets from the respective boards’ websites & upload them.
• You can upload any one of the following documents as Identity Proof: Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN card, Voter’s identity card, Passport, or College identity card.
